staff speak english, there are many type of pillow which you can choose at reception. onsen after 7hrs on board was great. breakfast was good.

Room is included breakfast. It's simple Japanese breakfast but we love it. Simple but delicious. In the salad section, there are about 5 dressing to choose.

The default pillow in the room is a single pillow for double bed and extremely hard. Fortunately there are other pillows one can borrow from the reception.Another slightly disappointing thing is that the hotel onsen is not tattoo-friendly while most of the Beppu onsens have no issues with tattoos.

Pretty much everything, 2 mins walk from train station, free onsen, very good breakfast included, free liquor in the evening, very polite staff. Just exceptional. It is not just one of the best but the best hotel I ever stayed in value and location.

The room was very small, but had everything we needed.

The size of the room was huge in comparison to the average you get in Japan. The hot springs are just a bath on the ground floor and because of the big amount of tourists it can be quite loud there. Breakfast was tasty. The managers speak very good English and are very helpful and kind. Overall very good value for given money.

The hotel is located just a minute-walk away from the JR Beppu train station. It was convenient to get to especially since the bus stops are all in the vicinity. Checking in was a breeze and the staff were clear with their directions. They were also helpful with explaining how to use the coin laundry and the free dryer. I appreciated that it was a card-less check in because that meant I need not worry about losing the hotel card key. The breakfast was simple and it was self-service. I loved that the lounge was open after checking-in and in the evening so I could have my packed food and enjoy the drinks provided. The public bath is small but it has everything you need. The room is a little cramped and I did not have space for me to fully open my luggage but if you are out of the room most of the time, this should not bother you.

We love everything they provided, including free drink, free hot spring! The location is just right next to the JR!

The location was perfect for us, because it was near the train station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a “Welcome Hour” each evening with a variety of beverages to enjoy. My husband and I thought that was a nice extra. The breakfast buffet in the morning was a good variety of tasty foods. There was a public onsen that many of those staying at the hotel were taking advantage of. We did not use this facility, so cannot comment on it. The only downside for us was the layout and comfort of our room. There were no comfortable chairs in the room, only a slightly padded bench in one corner. Also, the two beds were pushed together against the wall with the window. So to look out and see the beautiful view you had to crawl across the bed and sit on your knees on the bed. The square footage of the room was good and so we couldn’t understand the layout. Also the bathroom had all the amenities, but was very small.

Located in front of Beppu train station,very convenient trains and buses,and the breakfast was excellent.

Very close to Beppu Station, making it super convenient. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the selection of pillows. I booked the double room with a sofa, but it turned out to be another single bed instead, which left almost no space for two suitcases. The restroom layout is very practical. All the staff were helpful and friendly. The amenities were great—especially the face sheet mask, which was a nice extra touch.

No complaints for the price we paid. They have free alcohol drinks, free breakfast and free public bath.
