Hotel San Francesco

The room was very clean and comfortable and warm. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection of food. The manager who greeted us on Sunday afternoon when we arrived was very pleasant and could not have been more helpful. He quickly provided us with the layout of the hotel, where we could park outside, and where we could have dinner. The location of Hotel San Francesco was excellent and very convenient --only a 5 minute walk down to San Giovanni Rotondo, and another 2 minutes to a good restaurant. We only booked the rooms the day before our arrival, and they did not disappoint. We would definitely recommend Hotel San Francesco to others traveling to visit San Giovanni Rotondo, and would stay here again without hesitation. Thank you for your gracious hospitality!

Comfortable rooms, quiet, wifi works good, good location.

Only "italian-style" breakfast available (sweet crosaint, jam, butter, jogurt)

Convenient, the owner also owned a restaurant near by and help us to get dinner late in the evening

The towel is not suitable. it's more like table cloths than towels

The first thing that pops up is the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. They made us feel very welcome and looked after. We arrived to the dining hall late but they left a table for us with plenty of food and drinks available for our breakfast, which was good… and the cappuccinos and hot chocolate were great! The hotel is also very clean and our stay was overall excellent.

The hotel is very clean. The staff was very kind, and they were always helpful particularly: Carolina and Giovanni. The hotel is surroneded by beautiful nature.

The receptionist was very welcoming and tried to have a conversation with us guests. The location is near enough to the shrine, the Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza, the souvenir markets, restaurants.

The room has a hanging electrical cord from the ceiling and it shows that the hotel is not yet totally finished, and if that is the case then I think the room rate could be lowered.Secondly, the AC does not work if there was any. Me and hubby tried to look for the switch but did not find any. The reception desk was already closed so we did not get any help. We only stayed for one night and we checked out very early so we do not really know if the hotel has AC or not.

Nice small hotel, clean comfortable room with a terrace, average breakfast, very nice and helpful staff. Free parking.

Great location, nice staff, good breakfast. Car parking could be more spacious. We recommend that hotel.

It was a cold and windy evening, the rooms were pretty cold, we reached out to the front desk late at night wondering if the heat wasn't working. He was very good, and quickly resolved the issue by providing us with a heater.
