Breakfast was decent

Staff barely spoke English and were not welcoming. No one gave previous instructions regarding transport and it was a bit rough coming there.

The property is big and well located, has parking inside the premises. Very clean and well kept reception. The room was simple but comfortable.

I like the property but it is necessary to know that the room is austere, simple, but very clean

The staffs of the hotel are very kind and courteous. The rooms are clean and near the basilica of Padre Pio., only 5mins walk.

Outstanding location and value. Very clean. The breakfast can use some improvement, but frankly if all you need is light pastries and coffee, this is great. They also had the basic Italian staples, mortadela, breads, etc. the rooms were very clean as well as the facilities. Free parking was also very nice.

Location - Excellent! Took the bus from Foggia which was next to the train station and got off at the bus stop which was around a 5 minute walk to the hotel. Walking from the bus stop is downhill so take this into consideration since it is a bit steep going up though there were some stairs on the side of the road. Otherwise the hotel is close to the Padre Pio shrine and church around a 5 minute walk.Breakfast - it was good with coffee, eggs, bacon, variety of bread, cheeses, cereal etc. Room - the hotel is clean. The room was big and was cleaned daily. Though we were located next to the main road, it was quiet. Reception/ Check-in - easy check in. No issues. Later that evening, the lady at the reception area helped us with how to get to St. Micheal Archangel Grotto via bus vs taxi. Very helpful.

I went to visit the church of Padre Pio, just a few minutes walk there and a few minutes to the bus stop! The staff was very helpful in getting information for how to get bus tickets to return to the town of Foggia where the train station is.

Everything was very clean. It was very close to the old church, new church and Stations of the Cross although had to pay 10 Euros for a shuttle because too steep for my elderly mother. There was a chapel in the hotel.

Nothing.Prior to our arrival we called three times to ensure that our small Havanese dog would be welcomed as a family guest as the hotel’s Booking.com marketing presentation had advertised. The hotel’s phone was not answered and our calls were not responded to.After making a reservation on the advertised basis of allowing a dog to stay with the family, we arrived at the front desk for our check-in and were greeted with an abrupt, “No pets are allowed”, and a denial of service despite our repeated calling to check availability.The desk clerks couldn’t be bothered to help us find a replacement room for the night.It was profoundly insulting, particularly because we are visiting the site to fulfill a religious pilgrimage.Perhaps God alone can forgive them.We have no reason to…

We never got a returned courtesy call or past the front desk so it doesn’t matter.

Everyone was very nice and friendly. Very clean and room is spacious. We got here late and just added another night without a problem. Front desk very helpful and speak English what is rare in some other places around!!!Having a restaurant is convenient . Food was ok!

Even though location is good, the access with luggage is very difficult due to everything be up hill and hotel like in a valley. Roads are very very steep. The shower is extremely small my kid barely fit for shower. We can’t wash the hair without bumping the elbows.

The hotel was very clean and in a great location. While there's a steep incline to the pilgrimage sites, it wasn't an issue for us. The beds were comfortable, with plenty of blankets and pillows provided. Breakfast was great with lots of options. Overall, an excellent value.

We didn’t appreciate that messages we sent before arrival via WhatsApp and Booking.com went unanswered. Check-in wasn’t very welcoming; the staff member seemed annoyed and only shared basic information when asked. On a positive note, the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. The A/C in our room didn’t work well, even after lowering the temperature. Overall, the positives outweighed the negatives, and we would stay here again.

Excellent hotel, right below the Sanctuary. It's a steep climb but short, especially if you find the shortcut. The receptionists (who mostly spoke English) and the cleaning ladies we would meet in the hallway were so lovely and nice. The room was clean and spacious and the small fridge was great to have. The bathroom was clean with plenty of towels. We don't stay at hotels a lot so not sure if that's common but there was a room with an iron and ironing board which was very handy to have (and it had a schuko socket unlike the room). Breakfast was very good with a variety of offer, and lunch was very affordable and delicious! We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again!

Shower head was broken and leaking, so that could be fixed, but didn't bother us that much.

Staff service, clean and location.

Could not get a steady temperature for the shower. After setting to warm, either it gets very cold or very hot. Very poor temperature water flow.

Spacious, clean, location, courteous staff

Breakfast was a little chaotic because it was always running out with bread, eggs, etc. We didn’t mind the 8-10 minute uphill hike to the shrine. But this is something to consider for seniors who have difficulty walking.

Only a 10 minute walk to the Padre Pio shrine. Staff were super helpful and friendly about adding a night to our stay. There is a very holy and modern feel to everything.

Outstanding hotel very close to two churches associated with Padre Pio. The restaurant for lunch and dinner and breakfast was very good. Parking was available and great. Rooms were spacious and comfortable.

So spacious, peaceful and comfortable. The hotel is in an ideal location. The chapel that’s open 24 hours is Gorgeous! I could have spent hours in there.

There was a lot of dust in our room. Very few healthy options for breakfast. Too many options heavy in sugar.
