Location. It's a 7 minute walk from the sea and close to beaches and cafes. I also liked the breakfast!

We would have preferred an Ocean View instead of the pool. It is an older hotel but worth the money.

The staff was exceptional and very helpful.I have never, ever eaten a better breakfast anywhere on the planet.Then at this hotel, then just to walk across to the beach and get into the water.It was perfect...

We visited in October ‘25, and stayed 3 nights. Clearly was quite a nice property at one time, but is now rather dated. Room (1st floor front facing balcony) had a roomy balcony with a table & 2 chairs. Excellent sound-proof door with no street noise. King bed was fairly comfy with nice linens. Large shower with lots of hot water and soft towels. Truly exceptional breakfast buffet available from 8-noon in pleasant dining room. Very friendly & helpful staff. Lovely rooftop patio. Excellent location for beach and easy walk to pretty streets, nightclubs, restaurants, museum, historic area..

Property needs some improvements/refreshing (landscaping around pool & pool chair cushions replaced; balcony looked onto half dead plants & dirty awning; hall carpets..)We struggled to drive, using GPS to this property due to roads closed for pedestrians…property should advise guests that they can drive down (closed) waterfront road & park in their one spot to unload their luggage. Property has no guest parking, and secure city parking is €30/day.

Platjador is wonderful. Clean, fabulous location across from the beach, and lovely amenities. We enjoyed our balcony and use of the pool. The breakfast buffet was amazing and all of the staff were helpful and friendly. The rain shower and toiletries provided were very nice and exceeded expectations. Beds were comfortable. Enjoyed tea on the rooftop deck. Definitely no hesitation in recommending!

The location of this property is excellent and the views from the room were lovely if you have a sea facing room. It’s just across from the beach and within close walking distance of restaurants, bars and shops. We didn’t use the pool but understand from other guests that it’s in the shade for a lot of the morning. The beach is fabulous though, although sunbeds and umbrellas are on the pricy side. The breakfast buffet goes on until midday, which is wonderful and it’s always well stocked. You can also order eggs and omelettes to order. Staff here are super helpful & friendly, especially the reception team and the those keeping the rooms clean. The bar on the roof is also great. A really lovely stay.

The property is a little tired and being super picky, the wine selection at the bar is a little limited. For the price point though, this hotel is great.

Great location, opposite the beach and within walking distance of lots of bars, shops and restaurants. It’s worth the extra cost of a sea facing room, although these are a little noisier. Special thanks to the fantastic reception team who helped us with a room request. In fact, I don’t think I’ve stayed in a hotel with a friendlier, more helpful reception team. Rooms are cleaned daily and you are given a small bottle of water each day. There are coffee making facilities in the room too, as well as shampoo, body wash and body lotion in the bathroom. We loved our stay.

It’s a little basic but the location and friendly people working here more than make up for that.

The location is excellent- The breakfast was excellent-The room was clean and the balconies were great. In the action and a view of the beach. The roof top deck was so awesome- I’d stay there again for sure.

The staff seemed stressed. Nice people but clearly long hours. They had a long season it seems - they did what they could - very efficiently.
