An outdoor pool, tennis courts, mini golf and large gardens feature at this country hotel. It is located 5 minutes’ drive outside the Andalusian town of Ronda. The air-conditioned rooms at the Hotel Rural El Cortijo feature simple, rustic décor with bright colors. Each one comes with free Wi-Fi and a TV. Some feature private balcony with views of the Ronda mountains. The Cortijo’s restaurant serves traditional Andalusian food. There is also a bar serving snacks and drinks throughout the day. Guests can also make use of the barbecue facilities. The Cortijo is just 0.6 mi from the Esfera Paintballing Center. You can drive to the beaches of Marbella in around an hour.

- Location 6km from Ronda, by car no problem to access the sights
- Parking for moto mear the room
- Quite, roomy for size of rooms, seating area outside and the bar and food were fantastic. Close to Ronda, but far enough away to be rural.
Cons -
- Remote and rural place, room in extra house, heating and hot water supply to be improved, bathroom and room is old and run down. Internet did not work properly despite having WiFi signal.
- Bed linen (nothing warm) and the curtain (too much light early in the morning
