Splendid Hotel Taormina

Friendly staff! the waitress at restaurant and buffet was amazing, so friendly and helpful!

Arrived early and the staff was more than happy to accommodate an early check in, with an upgrade!

Great location. Great Views from our room (std) and great views from the 3rd floor observation deck. Modern facilities, great rain shower. Clean modern bathroom. Clean Spacious room.

No complaints. Only accolades.

We stayed two nights in Taormina and tried two different hotels. Splendid was the second one and l would say it has a better sea view, because from the balcony you can see the S shape beach far away and the mountain is on the side. The whole ocean is in front of you. After raining we even found a double circle rainbow above the ocean, which was breathtaking. Love the view.

Close to old town. Staff was exceptionally nice and so friendly. Wonderful breakfast with views!!

Lovely hotel,very clean room and comfortable bed. Good size bathroom, great restaurant and fabulous staff at reception. All in,a brilliant stay over Christmas.

Very nice hotel in a great location. Everything feels 4 stars. My room was lovely with an amazing view down the coast.Breakfast offered a good variety of choices with another great view.

Beautiful location. Very helpful and professional staff. We had a too with a balcony facing the water. Wonderful!Bed was very comfortable. room was quiet. Front desk staff made a reservation at a Great restaurant nearby for us.

Beautiful hotel with a great pool with a fantastic pool area. Breakfast was plentiful, lots of choices. Staff so nice and friendly.

The property was very well located and surrounded by spectacular views specially if you book a room with a balcony.

There is mosquitoes in the rooms . And the Air conditioner doesn’t work in October.

We asked for them to arrange a romantic dinner on our terrace for our wedding day. It was more than we expected. They provided a fresh floral candle arrangement, with roses, a complimentary bottle of wine, exquisite menu and excellent service. It was the most beautiful romantic evening overlooking the Ionian Sea from our terrace. What a dream! They had it ready for an early check in and we couldn’t have been more pleased. Thank you Splendid hotel and all the staff and chef who made this an unforgettable experience. We will be back again. ❤️

We only wish we could have had the room we stayed in the year before. It was designed better, slightly larger and you could lay in your bed and look directly out the French doors to the sea. I guess it wasn’t available on such short notice though.

Location and staff. Convenience of valet parking . Buffet breakfast was wonderful.

Our room location was very noisy, being next to restaurant. However, it was the last room available.

Just prepare to walk up and down the hill but you can’t avoid if you stay in Taormina. There is valet parking which the hotel will take care your car. Tourist attractions are all within walking distance.

Just need to improve the soundproof of the room.

Lovely hotel. Our room was very nice with a lovely terrace with an amazing view out to the sea. Great pool to unwind in after a day of sightseeing. Great buffet breakfast.

Only thing that could have been better was WIFI reception in the pool area kept dropping in and out out the whole time during our stay.

The location is perfect. It’s very close to the town. The breakfast was excellent with many choices and our room was very comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay there again. The staff was very professional.

Very stylish looks from the outside, great and well maintained swimming pool, wonderful breakfast options and good quality rooftop restaurant should you not feel like wandering from the hotel. If you are lucky enough to book a superior room with sea view and balcony the views are stunning!

Shower was a bit slow to drain - but that’s a good way to stop overuse of water in a drought area.

The facilities were a bit dated, the shower wasn't great but the rest of the facilities were pretty solid.
