The beauty of the hotel's marble, art, the rooftop terrace with a view of Mt. Aetna and the sea. The staff is A-plus. Great cocktail hour and breakfasts where we met fellow travelers.

Maria and Chiare were fantastic hosts at the property. Beautiful room … perfect location and great breakfast. Maria booked us an excellent restaurant our first night and we returned to the same restaurant. Delicious food .. great price. The staff and facility are amazing !!!!

Clean with great location. Roof top for breakfast and evening cocktail offers a fantastic view of the sea and Etna!

Everything was perfect as a recommendation please also refer to park the car in the parking lot Catania which is close to the hotel .

The property is perfectly located right on vibrant, main pedestrian street Corso Umberto by the Duomo, restaurants, shops and taxi to get around. Best roof top bar with view of Mt Etna and coastline great food and drinks

If you have mobility issues you need to walk up first flight to access very small elevator/lift. Excellent staff helped with luggage. Recommended requesting Room on Floor “0” to avoid using elevator.

Booking.com customer service was extremely unprofessional,especially customer service supervisor,Sabrina. Would not respond to my concerns if I do not hear from Sabrina in the next seven days, I will never use your company again and tell everyone not to use Booking.com.

The staff and the location. But watch out the location is on Catania door opposite way of where the cable car and bus station are…

Complicated lift. Very small reception and the breakfast is average.. The team is nice specially Chiara but the value is not worth the experience…

Great location next to parking garage and in the town center. Makes the entire stay easy to get in and perfect to enjoy the town. Staff support is excellent.

Top floor rooms are just below the roof patio. In the morning you can hear the cooking activities and all the chairs being slid in and out of the tables. This started at 7am and continued until 10am. Ask for a different floor

The properties location was perfect, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, the roof top was enjoyable.

Some other travelers complained that they were getting cold. So the staff, being accommodating, turned the heat on for our last night. It was so hot we were miserable. We turned it off but our room never cooled down. If we opened windows, the noise outside was too loud and kept us up. It was a rather unfortunate end to a fabulous stay.

Our stay at Hotel Taodomus was absolutely outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the service was second to none – warm, attentive, and genuinely personal. The reception team made everything easy, helping with tours and airport transfers, and the rooftop staff took incredible care of us each morning at breakfast and again in the evenings over drinks.A special thanks to Manuel and Antonio for their impeccable service and the wonderful conversations about Italian life, and to Laura for making the best omelettes! The breakfast spread was unbelievable, with fresh, delicious options every day.The rooftop terrace was a true highlight – relaxed, peaceful, with stunning views over Taormina. Our room was beautifully serviced each day, the bed was super comfortable, and the luxurious bedding made for a perfect night’s sleep.The location is ideal, right in the heart of Taormina, yet still a peaceful retreat. We couldn’t have asked for more – a perfect blend of comfort, service, and atmosphere. We’ll be back!

Breakfast was one of the highlights of this boutique hotel. Lots of selection plus a chef to cook to order. Breakfast attendants were also very good. The two young ladies at the front desk were extremely pleasant and helpful. The decor of the hotel is very nice. Looks near new or recently renovated. Best bathroom of our 3 week trip. Decent price.

Rooms are very small. Our bathroom was as big as the bedroom. Everything was impeccably clean. The sea view is an old trap all these hotels use. If you can see a quarter of an inch strip of blue/gray then it qualifies as "sea view" otherwise it is a view of rooftops and clothes lines. Bar was not in use because of either weather or the barman didn't come in. If you are "open" you should be "open".

We loved the breakfast. Very filling and very healthy breakfast available. If you have a gluten issue the hotel have it covered! In fact, Taormina is a great location for people with food sensitivities - every restaurant has all the options for people with food sensitivities.

Couldn't fault the staff or quality of the food at breakfast. Cleanliness was excellent.

The information on Booking.com states that the rooms are soundproofed. Not exactly sure what this meant. Did it refer to the balcony doors overlooking the very busy, noisy street? I can't think it meant soundproofing of the walls between rooms because we could clearly hear our neighbours talking next door and it was extremely difficult to settle and get to sleep. Rather disappointing. Also, the very bland decor in our room was very uninspiring. Definitely in need of some vibrant colour!!
