Live like Royalty!

Nice hotel with shuttle service into the historical city center. Room was comfortable but a little tight and had limited bench/table top space for luggage (there was an armoire however if one wishes to totally unpack). The patio from the unit was nice, however we had limited views of the ocean (but a very good view of Mount Etna). The breakfast was exceptional and had everything one could ever want, all of very high quality. However, as others have mentioned, a better job of keeping things warm could be done. The lounge in the lobby was very nice, and the bartender made a great Negroni!

Driving to the hotel from the airport in Catania is challenging, especially around the windy narrow and steep roads in Taormina.

Amazing, very nice and high end. View is just amazing. Amazing staff. The free shuttle on and out of town bad it very easy and because it above the main town is more spectacular.. stay here

Nothing, wish I had a few days

The views from our terrace were spectacular.Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable.The breakfasts had so many fresh and delicious choices. We could eat our meal outside or inside the restaurant and look at gorgeous views while we did.The staff were helpful, friendly and attentive.We also appreciated the shuttle service!

There wasn’t anything that we disliked.

What an absolutely beautiful and relaxing place to stay in Taormina! Our room was wonderful with a large balcony overlooking the town and Mt. Etna. The abundant breakfast, good restaurant on site, lovely pool and stellar staff made our stay fantastic. Parking and shuttle to town were other pluses.

Everything! The artwork everywhere and special touches made the stay more magical. Breakfast was delicious and generous. The view is stunning !

The view of the sea and the Etna mountain. We had very good services from the staff. The shuttle was really convinient.

Great view from the main floor and the room. The hotel is far from the center of the city, but the shuttle service makes it work. The room was roomy and clean.With a few simple adjustments, they can be a 4 star hotel.

They did not have a fridge or coffee maker in the room. Instead there was a kettle with instant coffee and tea bags. Instead of having cups in the bathroom, they provide cheap flimsy plastic cups that cannot hold the toothbrush. The cleaning crew, does not replaced the cups you use, they simply leave them as is. This hotel had a 4 star rating, but at best it would be 2.5 stars because of the view.

Beautiful hotel with amazing views. Frequent shuttles to & from town. Restaurant on site was great. I would definitely stay here again.

The bee situation at the restaurant was out of control & needs to be addressed

This is a stunning hotel full of character and interesting artwork.The views from all the rooms are sensational and our room had a large balcony with two loungers . The bar has wonderful views and at night there is a stunning view of the lights stretching for miles . It is in a very quiet location and close to some good restaurants. The shuttle service runs into the town on a regular basis and the trip only takes 5-10 minutes . This was excellent and I would like to thank everyone who contributed to a memorable stay.

The location and view were amazing. The room was huge with a huge bacony facing the bay and mount Etna. Breakfast was great and the restairant serves good dishes. And the overall service including the shuttles were 100% perfect

Villa Angela is a boutique hotel set on the side of a mountain with outstanding views of the sea. breakfast was served on a large outdoor patio with the same amazing views. The staff were both helpful and friendly. There was a shuttle service too and from the town which mad it so easy and convenient to go into town as often as we liked. The hotel is oozing with charm and we truly loved our stay there.

The air conditioning wasn’t quite strong enough top offset the heat of the sun filled days and high temperatures.

Location made for a great view but was a 25min all up hill hike to get to, shuttle was great but annoying that it was paid. Also the shuttle did not take you to the train station or the cable car. 30 euros to get into town or train station. So you have to do that at least twice if not more if you want to get anywhere. Pool was awesome but closed at 7pm which seems very early considering it’s light and very hot until 11pm

Although breakfast offered several options, I think the quality of the food be improved.

Marvellous location. The view from the hotel is breathtaking. Waking up in the morning with the view of the bays and the Etna is unique. The parking is small but very convenient. The transfer service is really a plus. The hotel seems on the map to be very close to the center but maps are not very helpful in vertical towns like Taormina.

Villa Angela has the most amazing views! The rooms are spacious and has a very large balcony with amazing views!!! Spent one of our days just relaxing around the pool ! Was so nice! We enjoyed everything about this hotel and would highly recommend! We have done a lot of traveling and this gem was a favourite for sure! The shuttle service into town was very convenient !!!!Spent 3 night April 2025.

This was the best hotel we stayed in during our 2 week trip to Sicily. We felt comfortable and relaxed as soon as we arrived. First impressions count and we were immediately impressed by the guy who helped us park our rather large hire car in the car park and assisted us with our luggage. Our room was perfect and we had a wonderful view of the town and bay below and Mt Etna across the hills. The shuttle bus down into the town was efficient and easy. Breakfast was excellent. We ate in the hotel on 2 nights of our 3 night stay and the food was simple but delicious with excellent service. On our last night we ate our meal with a view of Mt Etna erupting - quite incredible. We honestly didn't want to leave.

Stunning view from the hotel. Room is spacious and restaurant is quite nice. Shuttle bus service to/from Taormina central is also convenient. I had very relaxing stay at the hotel.

This was a little bit of luxury. The views across to Mt Etna were lovely and the breakfast was excellent. The staff could not be more helpful.

The road up to the property is terrifying but worth it.
