Amazing gardens and pool deck with good services. Room was very nice and bathroom was updated.

AC was weak.

Location is brilliant, hotel is full of old world charm. Room was nice, great views.

A bit run down but in a way that adds to the old world feel. Staff were friendly enough though a bit distant.

Spectacular gardens on the property and amazing views of Etna, the sea and more. Very attentive staff. Breakfast was amazing!

The staff was very friendly and professional.The view from the room was astounding! Balcony to Etna and sea view)The hotel has a valet parking, which it make the stay much easier. The location is great. Very close to exit road from Traomina and also located at the start of the old town.

Windows are bit fade. Cleaning them will give a crystal clear view experience.

She really made our stay great This is an old hotel which is very nice and clean and a perfect view of the sea and mount etnaYou could watch sunrise from the hotel tooBreakfast was good. Staff was really nice especially Simona To get to the beach you need to walk to the cable cars but it’s a nice walk and not too much of a journey overall

Location and view were excellent. Staff very attentive. Breakfast excellent - lots to choose from. Bathroom is modern and spacious.

Some of the furniture is a bit “tired” but this did not affect my comfort.

Perfect location, right at the center of Taormina. Comfortable bed, great shower. Our room had wonderful view to the beach coast & etna. They give you a welcome plate with fruit. Free water. Valet Parking!! Breakfast with lots of options, fruits and freshly squeezed orange juice! The hotel facilities are so nice. Beautiful old property, makes you feel as you are on an Agatha Christie book/ movies. Views from the hotel is amazing. The whole property is gorgeous. Staff very polite and friendly. If i ever go back to taormina i will stay at this hotel again

Ar conditioner is super weak ( maybe it was broke…?) Our group booked 2 rooms and both did not have a cool air conditioner. We slept with windows opened, since weather was nice and cool at night. If you come in June- September be aware that you will not have a cool room.

The location is phenomenal and the services are top notch. Very friendly and helpful staff

The hotel is very tired and while vintage is part of the charm, there are some general maintenance things that should be addressed like chipping pain in the balconies and hall ways, stains in the upholstered walls, in room vinyl flooring, etc

Loved location. Pool is beautiful, but difficult to get to. There are so many bees that it makes it really awful to be there. I got bit by an aggressive bee and so did my friend. These of those aggressive peas that are traveling from South Africa up into the western world and they need to be wiped out. They are not honeybees.

Good location with amazing Etna views. V Agatha Christie hotel with tons of character. And the most amazing gardens and pool. Real old world glamour.

Location and accommodation’s were excellent, especially the gardens and pool.

The HVAC wasn’t working properly and our room was warm

The hotel is in a great location close to Corso Umberto. The view and the pool both lovely.

However, it’s feels there’s a lack of maintenance both pool, gardens and rooms. Our room was very tired, broken shower head, broken bathroom sink. The breakfast room very underwhelming, indoors with closed curtains.

The best things about this hotel are: the location, the architecture & the beautiful pool area surrounded by gardens with the view of the whole coast of Taormina!!

The bathroom was very small, dark & dated. Also the rude & inappropriate male server’s behavior from the breakfast buffet, who got upset because I filled my water bottle before leaving for a day tour…. He was disrespectful and very aggressive which was shocking to my husband and I.

Loved everything. Location at one end of town is positioned perfectly with bomb views of Mt. Etna, Giardini Naxos and coastline and Castelmola. Ample property with gardens, peace and quiet, nature and lovely pool area. Clean and comfortable room and property. Breakfast buffet included.

A bit dated (but helps keep the price most reasonable). 4 Star, not 5. Wish it had a gym, personally. Coffee could be better if you want to nitpick.

Excellent location, very clean, beautiful surroundings, indoor lounge area was comfortable and impressive.

Some of the rooms were difficult to access because of stairs, problematic for anyone with mobility issues.

Not a “white lotus” experience Rather a “great gatsby” experience. Dated but rich in classic detail. Perfect location. Beautiful gardens. Great breakfast.

Location, close to everything. They are on the South Entrance of the Village so on the opposite side of the amphi theatre. But a great walk through the village. Valet Parking, easy

Rooms are not well isolated with the neighbouring rooms. You can hear the other guest ... I think someone else brought this up in recent reviews.

The room is a good size and clean, the location is wonderful, and the view of the Hotel is beautiful.

It is an old Hotel and that is not the problem, the situation is that it is very poorly maintained, it smells like an old place, the mattress is horrible, and extremely uncomfortable. In addition, I needed a boat to stretch a blouse and they told me that they didn't have one, only They have a dry cleaning service, in the restaurant for breakfast, the chairs lined with fabric have dirty edges. It's time to invest in improving furniture and fabric covers.
