Understaffed front desk in the mornings. Only 1 staff dealing with a check out. Phone kept ringing and he never answered. Turns out it was our tour operator calling to ask us to meet them at top of hill vs hotel..almost missed our tour.

Great location, staff, pool and views

Lower fees and make hotels charge resort fees/city taxes etc up front, instead of ¿hiding ¿ their total cost. It¿s unfair to search for hotels from low to high pricing when the ¿total¿ paid after checkout is much higher. This is allowed to occur too much

The view from our room and the area was awesome as well as the staff . Breakfast was well organized .

Our room was extremely noisy at night with water pipes making trickling sounds all night. My wife and I did not sleep a wink¿ the only accommodation they moved our room next door but same problem ¿ overall it spoiled our vacation!

This hotel is prime location in Taormina and the views are breathtaking! Literally minutes away from all the restaurants, main scene of Taormina and right next to Villa Comunale di Taormina. The breakfast was really good, the pool was great and the entire staff, pool included, was wonderful. The guy that works at the pool bar is just a delight! On our first night they gave us a room on the first floor, and I asked if we could be moved to a higher floor. They said that there wasnt any availability that day but they would let us know for the next. Without us reaching out again, the called us first thing in the morning the next day to move us to a room on a higher floor. I thought that was top notch costumer service.

As people have mentioned, the rooms could use a little love and a more modern touch, but other than that, considering how expensive is Taormina, specially hotels with pools, I think is a good value for the price.

Hotel is located in the great area of Taormina. Walkable to every attraction on the Main Street. Great location!

Property needs to be updated. Entrance should have clean carpet and a trolley bringing gas up and down the hill.

Outdated property-bathroom shower flooded the floor. A/C very limited.

Location

The amenities were OK the worst part about it is the pool although it overlooks a beautiful sea. The pool itself was a little disappointing. There was a loud pumping noise by the pool that was very annoying. Wow you're trying to relax. We told the staff, but they said there was nothing they could do about it.

Very fresh and tasty breakfast. View was beautiful way to start the day.

Two items…A/C not working in our room. A fan was delivered. Bathroom-outdated. And no protection from shower water get all over the bathroom floor. YUCK!

Short walk to nearby attractions.

Odd location that is hard to get to in vehicles, facilities are in dire need of update, charged for full breakfast when we only had coffee (menu had coffee al a carte but they didn’t know how to charge it), and areas could be cleaner (ants in rooms, public facilities dirty, etc.).

Staff excellent. All rooms have a view. Great breakfast buffet. FYI in Taormina you will walk up hill often.

Rate a bit high even off season late November.

Reception and front desk staff not motivated for the duty, lack caring attention and smile. Worn and dented mattress, enough time to be retired.

Good location for nearby historical visit, good sea view rooms. Breakfast good for a 4 star hotel, with nearby caring staff.

Beautiful views. Morning breakfast was good. Room coffee was outstanding and boxed breakfast to go was amazing.

The internet was terrifble. I needed to do work at night before going to bed and the internet was completely unusable and frustrating. Do plan on checking into work using the hotels connection.

Gorgeous hotel in the middle of Taormina, the views from the terrace is superb. We only stayed for one night, I wish we have stayed longer. Breakfast excellent

There is a thief in the hotel. I can not pint point who the thief was. I forgot my things in the safety box. Called the hotel to get them for me because I was going back to pick my little bags that had my passport and money in cash. They said to go and pick them up. I went back from Cefalu to the hotel and when they gave them to me I opened them and the money was missing. I complained to a very nasty woman and she said that that was all they had found. They robbed me just like that. Very nasty person. Her name is Mara. The other lady. Laura, was a very very nice lady, but the rest were not nice. Mara was very disrespectful and did not offered to help me solve the situation. I am very disgusted and upset about the stealing of my money. I don't know what to do about it !!!!

I just explained the robbery of my money. They stole close to 600 euros in cash. I will give my bad review everywhere

The location was superb. Probably the best location for a hotel in all of Taormina. Close to all the main attractions and a view that is unbelievable. I had a premium sea view room but all rooms are sea view.

This wasn’t an issue for me, but there is a very steep hill to access the hotel. This may be an issue for people with mobility issues. The rooms and hotel were outdated. The pool deck should be replaced and the rooms need a makeover.
