Hotel Villa Ducale

The setting was spectacular- seeing the sea from our room and restaurant. The staff could not have been friendlier and were so accommodating. Our room was upgraded, because they had it available, which was very nice. And a superb restaurant, too!

Everything was wonderful. One of the best places we have ever stayed.

Room and hotel were amazing! Brand new and clean! Beds were really comfy and attention to detail in the rooms were great

The hotel, staff, food, and overall quality were exceptional. The communication with staff members for any of our needs was outstanding.

The location was great, albeit a little far from the main commercial areas. That being said, the hotel shuttle was efficient and reliable.

This boutique hotel is aiming high with the service provided by the staff and the overall feel. Our room was lovely with two balconies, one with sunbeds and an absolutely stunning view. The hotel restaurant and bar are excellent options if you do not feel like going into town. The hotel is located way up the hill from town but the hotel provides a shuttle and there is also a path to walk down into town.

The exhaust fan from the restaurant sounds like a jet engine and was noisy which we felt took away from the experience.

The view is fabulous. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast offerings were not up to the level of what we expected at a hotel of this quality and expense.

Delightful boutique hotel with a stunning view. Personable and fun staff and delicious breakfasts overlooking the town and sea made this hotel memorable. Although the swimming pool is small, you have access to a pool and gym at Ducale’s sister hotel.

It’s a bit of a trek into town, but you have access to the hotel’s shuttle vehicles (or take your time to explore Taormina by travelling on foot down into the town).

The view here is amazing. The staff was excellent- great recommendations for activities and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

From the moment we arrived we were treated like family. The staff was so welcoming and accommodating since we arrived early and were able to get us into our suite. The restaurant and view of Mt Etna are amazing. Our room was luxurious and we the views just breathtaking! The hotel and its staff were absolutely exceptional. Not only were the rooms and the hotel extremely clean and had an amazing view but the food was also delicious. However, the staff were what really set this hotel apart. My mom had broken her foot before our stay and the staff did everything they could to accommodate us and make us comfortable. They were extremely attentive and hospitable. Would stay here in a heartbeat again and will recommend to anyone staying in Taormina. The hotel and its staff are a gem.

The whole Villa Ducale Experience was exceptional, from the wonderful staff to the breakfast, lunch & dinner, pool was relaxing, bedroom facilities great can't wait to get back to Villa Ducale.

The stunning view of Etna and Taormina at breakfast. The upgrade we got on the kids room and the view from our bedroom, simple amazing.

Room Price on the higher end plus we had to pay extra for fresh orange juice at breakfast.
