Hotel Ariston and Palazzo Santa Caterina

The staff and the facility were wonderful, helpful and fun! Hotel Ariston more than lived up to my expectations and topped-off a wonderful stay in Taormina.

Location! Beach was across the street and there were multiple places to eat within walking distance.

Hotel seemed a little tired and dated. But location was good and staff were attentive.

food was average; our room didn't have enough cool air from the air conditioner.

I am so glad I chose to stay at Hotel Ariston. Yes, it’s an older property, but it has a genuine charm and warmth that made my stay truly memorable — and the value is excellent.Upon arrival, I was upgraded to a Seaview room, which I appreciated so much. The view was absolutely gorgeous. The room itself has an older, classic style, but everything worked perfectly. Even the shower, which some reviews mentioned, was totally fine for me.The location is fantastic — very walkable to the center of Taormina and just steps from the bus station, which made getting around incredibly easy. The breakfast was huge, plentiful, and honestly exceeded my expectations.The grounds were another highlight: beautifully maintained, lush, and full of amenities that made the hotel feel like a little oasis.

Buffet Breakfast was excellent! The room held a lot of people and the selection of food was extraordinary!The location was okay but hotel is up on a hill. Once you get into the hotel lower level,there is an elevator that takes you to the patio level. You then need to go up a flight of stairs to reception and the elevators that lead to rooms. The Buffet dinner was also excellent…great selections!

The walls are very thin. I could hear people talking as if they were in our room. The bed is not very comfortable, too soft. The bathroom in our room needs to be renovated. There was a tub which was pretty high and there was no decent size shelf near the sink to place items like toothpaste, etc.

So many fine people work at this beautiful hotel. Maurice at the checkin desk will go the extra mile to keep things smooth. Right at the bottom of the driveway is the bus to all your day trips. Do it.

This property was absolutely beautiful. The pool and grounds were always clean. The location couldn’t have been better with such a short walk to everything.

I boked a room with a balcony with the beautiful view. Breakfast is so good. A lot of products to choose from. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. We booked a parking with the hotel as well. The price is less expensive than the parking in town. The location is also perfect for visiting Taormina and all around. Recommened.

The location is great if you are traveling by bus as the hotel is just step away from the bus terminal. The sea view is amasing and breakfast was good.

It could be just for the rooms downstairs so I don’t recommend to stay at rooms starting with number 1. I have never experienced such a sleepless night and loud noise. Every time someone above our room flushes toilet or has a shower. It sounds like a waterfall or being flooded. After I complained it gets a little bit better but I will never go back again.

Very close to the central bus station and some of the main attractions, very good breakfast. The complex of the hotel is very nice. Wonderful view of the sea.

Room and facilities are a bit old (wear and age is visible). Other than that, very comfortable and nice.

The one thing I liked was the pool! Nice and cold and refreshing with beautiful views overlooking the beautiful beach!

This property is up on an extreme hill and is very difficult to find and to navigate. I ended up hauling my suitcase up three hills and it was very difficult! It’s not an easy walk down to the beach if you’re wanting to visit isola Bella beach you will need to take a cable car down. This properties room was tired and it smelled of bad cleaning products. The air conditioning of any was not working good. The beauty of this hotel is the pool and views from the top. It has a gorgeous outdoor seating area to eat! If you book here, you need to be aware it will be a hike anywhere you go! The breakfast is very nice with tons of options! I give the breakfast 5 stars!

Great location, friendly personnel, delicious food, outstanding breakfast, at a great price

The staff at the front desk was terrific. Helped us out with all we requested. The view from our room was spectacular. Wish we could have stayed a few more days to enjoy the property.

The whole hotel is dated, it is all clean, but still has a dusty feeling.The parking you can book through the hotel is very convenient. However, the hotel has two entrances, one on top of a steep narrow road, and one from the bus terminal (the parking is close to this one). After having gone up the steep narrow road we got a ticket at check in for the parking and then we had to go down again. Some more information on this to avoid having to go up and down the steep narrow road would have been nice
