The entire staff at Hotel Metropole Taormina are 1st in Class and were simply amazing! Hotel employee helped me with every request from dinner and opera reservations to excursions. He is extremely knowledgeable, incredibly kind, a true professional!

Hotel employee was extremely professional and he took such great care of me on the terrace. He made me feel right at home! Hotel employee is so awesome and kind! Seeing her for breakfast each morning made my day brighter. Thank you all for making me feel so special!

We loved our stay! The staff made us feel special from the moment we arrived. The location couldn't be more ideal for exploring Taormina and finding places to eat. Spectacular view from our room. Just wonderful!

The location is perfect. We had a sea view room with an incredible view. The staff were excellent. Danilo at reception was exceptionally accommodating and helpful. He very kindly welcomed us and gave us great recommendations.

The Best Hotel Experience We’ve Ever Had!Hotel Metropole Taormina is hands down the best hotel we have ever stayed in. We originally planned to stay for just two nights but ended up extending to four because we simply couldn’t bring ourselves to leave.From the moment we arrived, we were treated like absolute royalty. The staff here genuinely go above and beyond nothing is ever too much trouble, and they make you feel so special every single day. Our room was cleaned 2–3 times a day, always left spotless, and filled with thoughtful touches like chocolates and fresh water bottles that made us feel truly pampered.The location is unbeatable. You’re less than a five-minute walk from absolutely everything in Taormina, yet the hotel feels like its own peaceful oasis. The pool area is incredible, offering breathtaking views that you’ll never forget.Breakfast each morning was a highlight not only was the food beautiful and fresh, but the service was exceptional. The gentleman at the breakfast buffet (we didn’t catch his name) amazed us by remembering our drink order every single morning and greeting us with the warmest smile.A special mention to Maria and Ambra, who were absolutely amazing throughout our stay. Their kindness and attention to detail truly made our experience unforgettable.If you’re looking for a luxury stay where you’ll be cared for in every possible way, Hotel Metropole is it. We will be dreaming about this place until we can return!

The breakfast service is very slow and the staff seem a little flustered. May I suggest having someone for seating guests and taking their order and then others to run the orders to the table

This is a great location and a luxurious hotel, we really loved everything from the minute we stepped in. The staff at the reception were very friendly and pleasant, in particular Marie Angelique who went beyond the call of duty to help us with our flight booking when ITA cancelled our flight due to the strike. She managed to get us upgraded to a suite, which has a superb view from the balcony. Super clean and comfortable place.

Exceptional location, right in the center of town and yet not noisy. Gorgeous views and balcony from the room and dining room. The most friendly staff who went above and beyond for every request. The best breakfast with great variety of fresh fruits.

Everything was amazing.. location.. comfort.. swimming pool.. view, staff .. it was a great experience! I even met the famous Italian actress Monica Guerritore in the hotel and took photo with her?

Location! Location! Location! Views from bar and breakfast room were unbelievable Loved the Ortigia toiletries. Robes were very soft. There were face cloths!

For this caliber of hotel i should not have to move the bedside table or get on my knees to plug in my phone by the bed. There was a power strip that none of my adapters would stay plugged in to charge. I tried the plug in the bathroom but that is dangerous right next to the sink.

EVERYTHING! We loved overlooking the ocean for apperitivo and wonderful breakfasts, central location in Taormina but quiet. Even more was the exceptional staff!!! Maria is incredible and provided educational and free tours, including wine tasting, history, art and expedited entry into the Greek Amphitheater! Danillo from day 1 went out of his way to provide multiple services, Ambra got us into an amazing restaurant despite it being fully booked, Erica was terrific in providing me with my special request cappuccino! Lucia stayed after her shift to make sure we were taken care of! We will be back to this gorgeous Hotel!

We were delighted with the Hotel Metropole. It is a beautiful hotel in a stunning location. Staff were very attentive and welcoming. We loved the changing artwork and stylish features. The view from the bar was amazing. Breakfasts were delicious. Hot tub on the balcony. Perfect stay.

Amazing hotel in the heart of Taormina! The hotel is in the center, it’s close everywhere. The breakfast is exceptional with lots varieties to choose from! Cannolis are to die for! The rooms were clean and spacious. The pool area is breath taking, it has a bar but it was closed :(

We were not allowed air con on. In fact it was blowing warm air out out on a warm April night.Had to wait an hour for room service.Had to pay to use the spa - jacuzzi

Location, location, location. Walk out the front door on to the main street. Views from public rooms and bedrooms are fabulous. Breakfast, much as expected for a hotel of this category.Dinner was very good, but very pricey.

Corridor carpets not clean. Some of the building not up to 5 star standards, wood trim. doors into restaurant not fitting property. If you charge 10 euros for a coffee then these sort of things should be sorted pronto.

Prices in restaurant were too high so we did not eat at the restaurant except for the free breakfast. Prices for cocktails were ridiculous. We were charged €10 for a glass of tonic and a couple of sprinkles of bitters. That should’ve been on the house!

Everything was spectacular!

Very difficult to get to. Was not sure where to enter. Got lost and took us very long to find. However, it was at night and raining so that didn’t help. Need to provide more guidance on how to arrive.
