    Pros +

    • Perfect location, very nice cuisine.
    • Amazing location, near the beach, breakfast and dinner was exceptional, huge variety of food.
    • Great location near the beach, huge choice of food, exeptional breakfast and dinner.

    Cons -

    • Room facilities (doors, taps) needs some maintenance.
    • We didn't like the breakfast options. Quantity over quality. I would suggest booking the room without breakfast and paying at the reception for one breakfast to see if they meet your expectations. After that, you can book it for the whole stay. We made reservations with BOOKING and we were not able to change them. I don't recommend laundry services.
    • The table clearing around the pool area could be done a bit quicker, one day by the pool dirty glasses, plates and food on the floor were left for nearly 2 hours even though staff walked past many times. I know this sounds petty but for a fairly small pool area it is important to keep tables and seating areas clean so that people can sit down and relax. Also the bar area in the hotel didn't seem to be open at all whilst we were there, it would have been nice to have an indoor, air conditioned area to relax in, especially for older quests like my parents who struggled with the heat a bit.

Overall, it was a very nice experience. Clean room and comfortable bed, the shower worked flawlessly, and we had a sea view. The beach 5-minute walk from the hotel and the train station is 15 min. Very friendly reception. They offered free beach towels, and we were able to lend some umbrellas from the hotel

The hotel was amazing, from check in to check out the staff were great. The reception team especially Krystina and Paula, always so polite and happy to help, lots of information provided upon check in. The bed was possibly the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Pool area was lovely although the table clearing could be done a bit quicker, one day by the pool dirty glasses plates and food on the floor were left for nearly 2 hours even though staff walked past many times. We used the roof top pool one day at a cost of 20 euros each - well worth it as the views and the vibe were wonderful. Breakfast was phenomenal- Abdul and Natalie on the egg station were amazing! Leli in the restaurant always greeted us with a smile.Location of hotel was great too, 5 mins to beach, 2 mins to town. Also great idea of the hotel is 10 euro deposit for pool/beach towels which can be exchanged for fresh as many times as you like during your stay.

The room was nice, big comfortable bed, was generally clean with a couple of small exceptions. Pool area was nice with decent value bar.The common areas were nicely appointed and the rooftop particularly had a nice vibe.Staff were generally nice, especially those at the pool bar.

EVERYTHING in this hotel cost extra, and not a little. Want to use the rooftop for a day? 20 euros pp please. Breakfast? 22 euros pp. A sunbed and parasol at the hotel's beach club? 16 eurosThat isn't really what I expect from a 5 star hotel. The pool area was nice but was quite small for the number of people using it, we only got a proper sunbed for a couple of hours over the course of 3 days.A big disappointment was the spa, it is years older than the newly refurbished hotel, we paid extra for an hour there, but half the installations were broken, it wasn't clean, and in fact the door lock wasn't working so people were coming in and out. We left after half an hour to ask for a refund that we didn't get. This area is in dire need of renovation and a bit of TLC.

    Nice pool, modern room.

AC didn’t work in June. The rooftop pool is not included in the price. Stairs to get into the building, no ramp and the elevator wasn’t working.

The hotel itself was lovely! Everyone there was very kind and helpful. Rooms are spacious and couldn’t ask for a better hotel.

The location. There are so many beautiful places to stay in costa Brava. I would not recommend Calella. Not near as nice as Begur, Palafrugell, or Tossa de Mar. just be aware it reminds me of the Myrtle Beach of America.

I loved the location, the view from my balcony of the sea, and the rooftop area.

I didn’t like the light/ air conditioner situation!

    10WenboPosted on: 10-28-2024

All the staff are very polite and friendly. The hotel is beautiful, and both breakfast and dinner are plentiful and delicious.

However, the floor in the room was a bit less clean than expected; if it could be cleaner, it would be even better.

Hotel was great, stayed for my son to compete in Ironman, the location was perfect, staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic, great healthy variety!

    10CristalPosted on: 10-8-2024

Perfect location in Calella, especially for Ironman race. Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room with views, we enjoyed everything during our stays.

    None, all good.

    9DidierPosted on: 10-8-2024

The breakfast was unbelievable, lost of choices and very good food. The room was big enough for the three of us.

Nothing actually, maybe the external view on a building in construction.

    7JakubPosted on: 9-8-2024

It was close to the beach, kind stuff, nice view from the top floor. Amazing room with a fridge. I RECCOMEND TO STAY HERE.

The room looks amazing, but somethings was useless and was made at a low cost. (a towel hook that fell off). The diodes in the socket, as well as evacuation plan, shone intensely, which made it difficult for sensitive people to sleep comfortably. It's small things, but in 5 star hotel shouldn't occur. Of course, evacuation plan is very important, but it could hang on the wall next to the door, then it wouldn't get in the way.

    8AbenaPosted on: 8-18-2024

Maria and Krystna, along with the rest of the staff, were extremely helpful and professional. The facilities are impeccably maintained, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of options to satisfy all preferences.

Callela coastal area is good for a very short time period.
