GHT Balmes, Hotel-Aparthotel&SPLASH

It’s a lovely place with friendly and helpful staff—everyone we interacted with was polite and accommodating. However, there’s some room for improvement in the logistics. We booked a room with a kitchen as we planned to cook dinner, but upon checking in around 8 PM, we discovered that there were no pots available, and the fridge and kitchen weren’t functioning. We reached out to the reception, and thankfully, the issue was resolved within an hour. While we appreciated the prompt assistance, it was a bit inconvenient having to wait, especially given the late hour.

The staff is really nice and helpfull, also the buffet was excellent was great choice and also great waitresses. They were really helpfull and opened the buffet before time for the runners of the half marathon.

The rooms were little and not renovated, also a bit noisy for those facing to the pool. Nothing dramatic but something to be improved

Bed was bad. Room had an external noise from the air conditioning system outside of the room.Fridge was not working. But they replaced with a new one.

We stayed here for a race and it was right next to the start line. Staff were great on arrival, beds were great. Hotel bar staff were super helpful and pointed us in the direction of a great tapas bar called Can Xena!

This is nothing to do with the hotel. Be careful with parking, their is no hotel parking and my car was removed by the police despite being parked correctly in a parking space. Poor service from the police, a massive fine and terrible service from the council when trying to complain. Check, double and triple check for signs.

Staff were very helpful and pleasant Location was great Easy to walk to everywhere Shops and restaurants were easy walking distance Rooms were spotless but family room a bit tight for 2 adults and 2 children Food at the snack bar very reasonably priced

No entertainment When we booked it said till mid September So everyone arriving with children thought there would be some form of entertainment So evenings on site was very boring

The room has a soft smell of a dump.I booked the room for two people and when my friend arrived she could not to check in on her ID from Argentina even she lives in Spain and has resident social number. The main boss was not helpful and didn't let her stay.

We very like the staff. Sergi was very nice and helpful and we had a great chat with him. Nahia also very nice girl. My son loved swimming pool and games inside. We could spend a lovely time by the swimming pool. The food was nice. Breakfast vell prepared and we love mango paradise smoothie from the bar:) Cleaning staff did great job too.

The staff was friendly and dinners were great.

Noise, always noise. You hear everything. And you also can't sleep at night, because someone is talking outside. Sometimes there are parties outside and the only way you can sleep is with earplugs.

Great location; walking distance to the beach and the high street. The hotel offers entertainment during the day at the pool and during the evenings. The food also amazing. I was surprised to see a great variety of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lovely staff.

Breakfast and dinner are super. The location of the hotel is not bad, close enough to the city center and the sea, about 5-10mins by legs. Cool animation program for all ages but especially for kids. All staff were good, everyone was able to help us with all questions I had

Very thin walls and terrible audibility. You can hear everything they say in the next room. Disgusting smell in the room. The staff said it was probably from the air conditioner. The opportunity to change the room was only on the third day of our stay

Was not your usual beach holiday. Not many Irish or British bars but was also nice to experience the Spanish culture. Good location very close to main shopping strip.

Dinner could have had more meat options but food was fresh.

Our first room had a leak in the ceiling. Thankfully, the staff was very understanding and switched us to another room right away. The new room was also very nice and spacious. The breakfast was abundant, with a wide variety of Spanish and international dishes. Overall, we had a really good time.

Cosy and nice place for family to stay in good location. Stuff very helpful, speaks in english.

the staff was the best and top on the list! the rooms were comfy. balcony just enough. the shower and HOT water was so good. the pool and buffet were more than enough. I only gave less star because my friends said their room smelled like mold.and my sisters room had a drip from the ceiling in the bathroom. fixed but still….. not good.

A good choice for my IronMan extended week-end stay (Oct 1st) - well equipped and spacious bike room, adapted early breakfast in the race dayRich breakfast, with plenty of options (including appropriate dishes for (tri)athletes)

- slightly overpriced- some rooms may be slightly noisy - from the loud music in nearby restaurants

The hotel was spotless clean and staff were friendly. The beds were very comfortable

The Breakfast was good. The Staff at the restaurant was very nice and kind.

The staff at the reception was a little bit disorganized.Soundproofing was non-existente. I could hear the person next door snoring.The charge 5 euros daily for the use of the safe box

Stayed for the 70.3 Ironman. Hotel was clean, great activities for kids. Had a bike storage room and done an early breakfast on race morning. Staff were friendly. Pool bar food and drinks were very good value and quality. Nice pool area. Spacious rooms and had air con.

Room was a bit dated. Small bits to fix.

Location for Ironman Barcelona event was good.

Breakfast was relatively ok - no porridge as it is normal in the other hotels.
