- I was there for four days, out all day every day. I enjoyed my stay, staff were very helpful
- When I booked this hotel, I couldn't't imagine that it is going to be that exceptional...starting with the big smile of Mr.Hussien who welcomed me with great hospitality on the main door, moving to the super AVTIVE Mr.Ahmed from the front desk who welcomed me as if i'm in his own home...checking on me and wishing me that I reached the hotel safely, mentioning that they upgraded me from a room to a deluxe suite with breakfast ...then Madame Sabah from house keeping who used to greet me every single morning with the same warmth, checking my bed sheets and mattress if i slept well, also cleaning every part of the suite everyday for 6 nights....then my big thank for Mr. Issa and Mr.Abid from the restaurant, those well mannered and professional in checking the guests and their needs on the breakfast daily....And all that was wrapped with the Godfather of this place Sir Adon, the manager, the main reason that encouraged me to exceed my stay...The amount of professionalism he has in every single detail managing this place... starting with my booking, following up with me regarding my payment, his prompt reply and actions, his big hospitality that made me feel safe secure and comfort...he has the eagle eye on every single detail related to each guest, I can't thank him enough for this exceptional stay that exceeded my expectations...( The right person in the right place )
- Location, cleanliness & professional staff
Cons -
- Really nothing
- no facilities, salted water , small buffet and daily same without variety in food types
- Breakfast was not very varied. Would of been fine for one day but I was there for five and it was the same each day. Understand it was in the low season as well.Traffic in the area can be full on between 6am and 6pm so if you are getting picked up plan ahead!

no facilities, salted water , small buffet and daily same without variety in food types
Location was excellent and you could walk to most places. Room was very clean and bed was comfy. Had a massage which was nice in the the Eden Spa. Lots of shops and places to eat localy as well. Wifi was very good for planning my day trips.

The service and the staff are great everyone was super nice and helpful i was kind of scared because i’m a women staying alone but i felt safe in this hotel
The interior is a bit old
The staff were absolutely amazing, especially the guy who checked us in. I was visiting with a friend, and he made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. He assisted us a lot and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The location was great, and the rooms were spacious and clean—but the staff were truly the highlight. I will definitely stay at this hotel again for sure!
The friendly staff , excellent location in the middle of Hamra street .
Furniture is very old , needs renovation urgently. limited breakfast options, there’s no Air conditioning at the reception area and outside the rooms , it is very humid and hot .
Staff, cleanliness and location
The location was exceptional in the heart of Beirut.
While the location is undoubtedly excellent, the hotel itself needs some attention. The furniture in the room was noticeably old and worn. Unfortunately, the cleanliness wasn't up to par, and there was an unpleasant smell in the room. The breakfast offered was quite modest and didn't provide much variety. Considering the price, I don't feel it was a good value for money.
The location and the interior are amazing! The staff super kind and responsive
The place is beautiful and very clean.
The internet needs improvement; it was weak in the rooms.
Nice staff
Erratic wifi, breakfast too basic
The location is convenient
Very limited toiletries. Limited towels. One slipper for a room of 2. We requested additional slipper and towels but did not get them. We only got one extra instant coffee. The toiletries quality was terribleTV channels were very limitedDon't try the body shampoo. It sticks forever on your body, and the water pressure is too low to take it off.
The Serenada Golden Palace hotel was a true hidden gem of Hamra Beirut, it provided an exceptional accommodation during my stay in Lebanon. The rooms were tidy and clean with a majestic charm. The staff were amazing and went to great lengths to accommodate my needs and demands 24/7. The hotel location is perfect for enthusiastic shoppers where shopping malls are within walking distance.
Central position in Hamra, a lot of shops and restaurants around, cool and helpful crew
Bathroom a little old but comfortable and clean.Wi fi to reconnect often.
Very nice place in a great location in the middle of HAMRA district. No power failure due to generator. Nice and friendly service.
the room cleaning lady removed a credit card from us, which we used for the light switch at the entrance of the room, so that the phone will be charged also when we are not in the room and dropped it to the garbage!!! Was not possible to get the card back...
1) the staff, everyone is so kind and friendly. When we arrived we had issues with the flight (Turkish airlines) not sending our luggage on time to Beirut. The gentleman at the reception was so kind and polite that he understood the situation and to make us feel more welcomed he have us a room upgrade. A rolling bed was placed in the living room and my parents stayed in the double bedroom. Later I asked for some recommendations and again super helpful. They even gave me free parking.2) the breakfast is currently not served as a big buffet, likely due to less guests due to current issues in this part of the world. Having said that, various types of cheese and cream and bread and eggs are served, if you ask they will likely be able to serve it. Again, very very very polite and helpful staff in the restaurant. I did not have breakfast on the first day and asked if they can make me an egg and cheese sandwich to take away, and they did! So nice of them.3) the decor is really nice, an old European palace flavour. Excellent photos in the lobby and the rooms.4) beds were extremely comfortable. I've stayed with various golden tulip hotels and their mattresses seem to be the best from all other Hotel chains.5) 24/7 electricity6) cleaned daily7) free kettle, mugs, tea and coffee in the room8) there's a gym which I didn't use so can't say anything about it, and a pool that I understand does not function in November as the weather becomes cooler.Overall, this is a great place to stay in.
1) the curtains had some stains on it, minor but can definitely make the room look much nicer if replaced2) the location means that unfortunately there are many beggars around, a few times my family was more or less harassed by children wanting money. Difficult given that if you give it once they'll bring their friends and so on. Also once they started knocking on the outside window which in the restaurant asking for money or food through the widow. The restaurant staff were kind to our feelings and closed the curtains.3) at times the door lock did not work adequately with the card and we had to try opening it a few times (room 202).
