A It was not at the Gare .I had to ask to find it. It is also along way from restaurantsI had a very long walk from the gare and could have taken the no 2 bus if only you had mentioned it . B Why did the hotel take a 100 euro deposit when it already had my credit card details as always with booking.com?

I cannot review Kyriad because we were not given a room for 3 persons at the hotel. At first, they said I did not make a reservation, then when the record was found, they said no room was reserved for us. Instead, we were offered 2 rooms at Best Western, under the same owner, for 2 nights at no extra cost. This was just too good to be true! When we got to Best Western, we were told they only had rooms for us for 1 night. After a lengthy negotiation, the conclusion was: sorry, both hotels were fully booked and no rooms would be available. As consolation, we were told when the directrice arrived the next morning, she might be able able to find us a room, at one of the 2 hotels or elsewhere. But there was no guarantee.To get some peace of mind, later that night, we booked another property for our second night in Belfort.The next morning, there was no news about any room being found for us, and we checked out at 9am.In the early afternoon, while walking around town, we ran into the hotel staff who checked us in the night before. He said there was now a room for us at Kyriad, to which I responded that it was no longer needed. Then he said he would cancel it for us. All this time wecwere just talking in the street.Imagine my shock when a day after leaving Belfort, I found that the hotel had charged us for the second night. It must be pointed out that both Kyriad and Best Western said they did not reserve rooms for us for 21 and 22 Aug. Then there was no notification ever about a room had been found for us when or after we checked out on 22 Aug.So how can they charge us for a room we never used? Besides, I just realised that they had charged us €7.92 for tax, which I think is the amount for 3 persons 2 nights.I have written to them asking for a refund. But 24 hours have passed and I have received no response from them.Further update: Apart from not hearing from the hotel itself, Booking.com has not been helpful so far. Disappointing service!

Location was convenient, near main road and the Belfort city was also nice for a short walk.Room was quite spacious, quiet, the bathroom was clean and the beds were amazingly comfortable.Breakfast was okey, but could be more various.

We were made to feel really at home during our two week stay. The staff were really helpful and welcoming. The rooms and beds were very comfortable.

The bedroom was spacious and clean with some storage space. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was very clean with free toiletries and towels provided. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, as the hotel is about 10/15 minutes' walk from the railway station and the city centre. The breakfast is excellent with a wide choice of sweet and savoury items. There is also luggage storage. There is a hypermarket (E. Leclerc) about 10/15 minutes' walk away where there is a big supermarket and a very good self-service restaurant. Highly recommended.

Easy to find and close enough to town. We enjoyed the walk among the river back. Room was clean and spacious enough. The indoor car park was nice for the motorbike.

Hotel feels outdated and is in need of renovation.Only hotel I've seen that requires a 100€ creditcard reservations on check-in. Did not experience this at any other large hotels chains.

Valuable Hotel

Internet connection is not good (too slow) in the hotel. Only one connection is allowed per email.

-No safety box in the room-Breakfast buffet was not well-organized, many plates were empty and you needed to tell waitress to refill -It seemed hotel was under staff at restaurant, bussing tables was not good. -Bathroom was out-dated -Hotel charges 100€ security deposit at check in. -Although I had breakfast included booking, hotel initially charged us 100€ extra for adding breakfast to our reservation! The extra charge has been refunded when receptionist talked to the hotel manager. (Not a good customer experience) - No fridge in the room

The apartment and the bathroom are very dirty. Old dirty furniture. The hotel is very dirty.I do not recommend

There was only one plug socket in our Superior room. I’m sure we had more when we previously stayed in a regular room with you.

It has a good location, near the shops and 15 min. walk from the city centre. The staff are still at the hight of the situation, though the hotel is far from it. Warm welcome and friendliness, great job receptionists! There is a free and enough parking space. And the bed was really comfortable, so a good point for a good sleep.It used to be a very nice place some 7-8 years ago. We loved it, and are still returning for the good old times sake.

What a pity! Just with a little repair or renovation, this could be a good hotel. Oh, yes and cleaning! The room was not really clean, to put it mildly. The bathroom door did not close. The washbasin sink did not function properly. There were some problems with the toilet flush, but got solved. The windows did not close properly, so there was a constant draught, which basically makes the need for heating higher, so not really an economical solution.
