Brit Hotel Belfort Centre-Le Boreal

Good location close to the center, easy to reach everything on foot. I arrived by bike and they had a place to store it safely, which was very convenient. The staff were extremely nice and welcoming, which really made the stay feel pleasant. The room was simple but clean and comfortable, exactly what I needed for a short stop. The bathroom was a bit older but still functional. Breakfast was generous and varied, a great start to the day. Overall, a reliable and enjoyable stay.

The hotel has a good location. There were many parking spots available close to the hotel.

There was a small leakage in the shower, and it seemed to be damaged and not repaired for a long time. The lack of soap and the general state of the room suggested that the room was not well prepared and checked for our stay.

The service staff was friendly. They offered me to change my room when I had a problem with the TV.

The breakfast is not good. No many options (no eggs). One morning there was not electrical energy in some sockets. The coffee machine didn’t work Also, no music (radio, tv, ambient music) during the breakfast

Only minor things - usb points would be good or at least better charging options by the bed, shower screen too narrow to keep all the water off the floor. One of the 'milks' curdled in the cup.

We’ve stayed there a few times and liked it but it’s not as good as it was. We went out for breakfast . The carpet in our room is very worn. Outside it’s very scruffy and untidy. Weeds growing by the entrance, not swept, dirty barks on the walls. We’ve decided we don’t stay there again unfortunately .

The bed was comfortable, and the shower was clean. I forgot my wallet and the cleaner didn't take anything good and I appreciate that.

The light wasn't working and the room heater was locked and could not turn it on while the weather in Belfort was cold those days.

Did not have breakfast. In too big a hurry to find a restaurant that caters to my group of customers (where toilets are adequate for seniors/handicapped people)

There was no air conditioning, they never fixed it and we were there for 3 nights. The cleaning is terrible, they had not cleaned the floor, the carpet was dirty and we were 2 people and they only gave us a towel to bathe, we had to open the window so as not to suffocate from the heat at night and the noise was an impediment to rest. ..

The receptionist was very helpful and smiling. The location was close to the centre and restaurants. I liked Belfort town.

The carpet has obviously not been cleaned before we came to the room. There were crumbs and dirt on it. The shower gel/shampoo dispenser was empty.

Location is great. Nice and central. Easy access to cycle paths and the local tourist attractions. Many restaurants close by. Close to a main access road but still nice and quiet.

The hotel refused to give me a bed and breakfast rate and insisted that accommodation and breakfast had to be billed separately. This seems like such a trivial item. Bed and breakfast rates are standard for hotels. I don't understand why they refused to give me a bed and breakfast rate. I did not request any discount, just that the rate be combined.

The lady employee who looked after me at breakfast the first day was amazingly positive, welcoming and helpful.

I had asked for a quiet (high floor and away from elevator) room at booking time , as I always do as a light sleeper. This was acknowledged by both the Booking automatic system, and by the hotel staff themselves by email. On arrival, the manager assigned to me a 1st floor room overlooking the road instead, and when I asked about it, I was told that upper floor rooms are a different category. Besides the hotel being almost empty, the only solution was to accept paying extra for a "superior" room - which still ended up being next to the elevator! The room was old, especially the bathroom felt really tired. The corridor carpet was stained (from solvent?) so apart from the size there was nothing that felt "superior" about it.

I'm writing this review in order to the place to improve and help the others, is nothing personal, the staff were very nice, and the room was big enough, but I found many things bad: I order a dinner, and I found out that my fork was dirty I can even see the lips of the last person who used it, I was very gross, the toilet was smelling bad and even the outside of the intake was dirty, the floor has a lot of marks and dust, in the sealing it was hanging one sock?? Covering the smoke detector, and was even dirty, but the worst was the noise during the night, and the bed was not comfortable at all, it was two single bed joined together, leaving one line in the middle, and the last is the parking... A 90€ hotel, “four star” which not include the parking..????.. I call this being hungry, I've been in ibis of 45€ without any hiding fees. The breakfast was very good, I only recommend this hotel if you don't have more options.
