About
Located within a building dating back to 1755 which has been restored to retain its original character and splendor, this boutique hotel was opened at the end of 2005. The first hotel declared by the Valencia Tourism Agency to be "landmark architecture", Hotel Boutique Palacio de Tudemir is in the heart of the city of Orihuela. The shops and monuments of the old quarter are within walking distance and Murcia is only 15 mi away, making it a good destination for a day trip.

Pros +
- Location. Bicycle friendly—bikes allowed in room for cycle tourists. Luggage storage during our bike tour was a bonus. Easy walk to-from train station to hotel. Spacious, comfortable, clean rooms. Bidet. Bath robes. Complementary fruit platter. Booked 2 superior rooms on 2 separate nights at start and end of bike tour. Lammertink bikes delivered rental bikes to lobby.
- Good cozy room, friendly staff.
- Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful The food standards are really great apart from breakfast
Cons -
- Paying for the water, after hit day arriving the hotel a little bottle of water would be nice. and the parking is expensive even the hotel gives discount on private parking not the hotel, the hotel doesn’t have parking.
- I would have liked extra pillows and bedding in the room. A bottle of free water would be nice
- I did not like the view from my room: a wall, but it was not a big issue for a one-night stay. I hate that fact that the water in the shower is not cold, but I know this has nothing to do with the hotel, it is something normal in the Mediterranean region during summer.

My room was very clean an cosy, the bed was really comfy. The entire hotel has a subtle fresh scent, I like that. The hotel is located in the historical centre of Orihuela with various restaurants around and at walking distance from the train station. I only stayed one night.

Very central. Lovely building.Half board a very good option; both breakfast and evening meal were very good.Smooth check in.
We paid a small amount extra for a balcony and city view but the view was restricted and not pleasant at all.I wouldn’t recommend paying more for it.It was noisy outside from very early in the morning because of a market in the street below.
Breakfast was great. Set you up for the day.
Breakfast staff not that good. Not rude, but blunt and not agreeable.
Great staff, great location. Very good disabled room. Restaurant food and staff brill. Not the easiest to find and not many bars open around, but hotel excellent.
Great buffet breakfast. Plenty of choice. Location very good. Room very clean and comfy
Excellent location, historical architecture and ambience. Spacious rooms.
A window didn’t shut perfectly.
We loved the bed, very comfortable. Reception were educated.
Breakfast was not the greatest, all juices bottled, coffee machine broken,by the time we got there at 9.50am...more than half of the food wasn't there, we had to ask the waitress 6 different times to get things, if we asked for milk we had to wait and then the coffee was cold, ect. The eggs and bacon that we ordered are in a different part of the hotel, so they take longer...and they over did it with the salt. There was even A table that asked for an omelette and they took 30 mins to receive it. Another table ordered a plate as well and never got it. And there were 4 tables with people and the rest of the tables were filthy. We had also paid an extra 20€ to stay till 4pm the next day, someone came to our door saying we had to leave because it was 12.30pm and it was check out time...right when we were love making ...we had to stop to tell the woman we had paid....that should have been up to date and communicated.
The location, the staff is excellent, the rooms are clean. It has elevators
The place will profit from place a note explaining how to use the phone - specifically- what numbers are needed to dial to call room service, laundry and the reception for instance. Same comment regarding the TV. It is not self explanatory that one need to press “all channels “ in The remote to access TV and there are only 3 , two of which are news. No movies.
great place to stay when in Orihuela. Good breakfast, big rooms, located in the city center.
Central locationCleanlinessQuiet
Whilst it was very clean, the room itself and the area near the entrance to the lift on our floor, had a bad smell. The lighting in the room is very poor.
Beautiful, historic building in a very central location. Very spacious room and en suite bathroom, and the most comfortable, huge bed you could imagine! Lovely, helpful staff too.
There was nothing we didn't like.
The staff was friendly and helpful. In addition the room was quite spacious, clean and comfortable. The location was perfect and walking distance to local historical landmarks.
Cannot think of anything.
Friendly staff, quiet hotel and great food
No English TV channels. No tea or coffee facilities in the room
Magnificent old building with modern clean rooms in an excellent location
The hotel has the best location of any in Orihuela. The rooms were large, comfortable and very good value. The restaurant served a menu del did a which was very reasonably priced.
I can't think of anything.
It does have a cozy old world environment.
Energy conservation and minimal use of A/C made it very uncomfortable.
Good price, friendly area
The room air condition barely worked Hard to find car parking
