Hotel Green View - Behind Pramarth Niketan

Everything else is fine, Rahul and Ritesh at the reception are very nice and very helpful. Renovation work is going on in the hotel, which is quite disturbing. I don’t know, maybe he is the manager or someone else, but I felt his attitude wasn’t quite right. Otherwise, everything is good. Surendra in the restaurant is also very nice. Overall, it’s good, but the manager needs to pay a little more attention to himself.

This has been an extremely disappointing experience. Our stay was cancelled without any prior intimation, leaving us stranded and completely inconvenienced. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, and we expect a resolution and proper compensation for the inconvenience caused.

The room was clean and super comfortable. All the staff were very professional and polite, plus the restaurant on the roof had great food.

Staff are cooperative and food is good, the location is nearby to river, Ashram, Bhootnath Mandir, Ram and Janki Jhoola. Parking is an issue however all the hotels are having the same story, you have to park the car in open.

Cleanliness could have been better, dust in the room.

The overall experience at this hotel was good. The location was great, the room was good size and staff was generally helpful.

Overall hygiene was doubtful. Especially the sheets and towels in the room. Also the freshness of the food. I had ordered a watermelon juice- it had a stale/ fridge smell/aftertaste. Though the staff was helpful, I was scammed for taxi booking. I requested the hotel reception for a taxi to airport and the charge was exponentially high with their commission. I understand that there is commission included when you book through hotel but this was very high and I felt cheated.

Our 3rd time staying at the Greenview..... and once again exceeded our expectations. The hotel is so conveniently located with many attractions within a walking distance and the mighty Ganges just a stone throw away from the hotel. The rooms at the hotel are a good size.. comfortable and very well kept and maintained.The highlight of our trip this time was the restaurant and the ever so friendly and welcoming staff of the F&B Team in the restaurant upstairs. They serve the yummiest food... their pizzas were so so good .... but the service of the friendly staff kept us going back to eat there rather than going to one of the many other eateries in the area. Solan and Anil made us the yummiest mocktails and fresh lime sodas ..... all with a warm and welcoming smile ..... Sachin, Mohit and the ever smiling Mahesh were just always so happy to serve and look after us each time we went up to eat .... they were always at hand to also offer advice and recommendations as well as information about local sites etc.The very hands on GM... a super friendly person, also maintained a constant presence and was ever so approachable and always around to ensure our every comfort and that we enjoyed our stay at the hotel.I would most definitely recommend the hotel and it's superb restaurant to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming and comfortable stay in Rishikesh. As for us ...... we will most definitely be back for round 4 !!!!!

Description and pictures do not match the rooms, in terms of view and color of the space. No big towel available. No yoga classes.Laundry overpriced, and the hotel is generally overpriced in relation to what you get. I booked a manicure/pedicure at the spa and pedicure was rediculous! The lady could barely manage holding the tools and merely soaked my feet in water and applied cream to my feet! They said this is what an ayurvedic pedicure is! I eventually cancelled the manicure.

Perfect location for someone who wants to just relax on the Ganga river bank.

Only one draw back is that local rickshaws are not allowed in the area. You can ofcourse rent a bike or car but old people may have to depend on daily car rental

Green view located minutes walk from the Ganges and near to shops and restaurants.Clean rooms and comfortable bed! Managers Ritesh and Arund very joyful and accommodating.

The highlight of my trip was the Parmarth Niketan Ganga Aarti, which was just a short walk away and offered an unforgettable spiritual experience.The staff, including Ritesh, Rachit, and Rahul, were incredibly courteous and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met promptly. Their hospitality added a personal touch to my stay. A special mention goes to the General Manager, Vijay, whose leadership was evident in the seamless service and well-maintained property.The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, making it a perfect retreat after exploring nearby attractions like Ram Jhula. Overall, I highly recommend Green Hotel for its excellent location, warm staff, and commitment to sustainability. Looking forward to visiting again!

The hotel is very close to Janki Pul, local market, Parmarth Niketan Ashram and Beatles Ashram.The staff was nice and helping.They also arranged rafting for us. We also rented a scooty from them. For us the breakfast was not included but we did the breakfast in the hotel and it was good.

I did not find the bedsheets clean. There were spots on them. Towels were smelling of bleach..Although the hotel is close to Janki Pull but if you are coming by public transport then you have walk a lot to reach the hotel. As the rickshaw person will drop you at the start of Janki Pul and then you have to walk for about 1.5Km with your luggage to reach the hotel.

My stay at the green view hotel was very good.the reception staff , Rachit and Rahul were always ready to help Mr.Ritesh Rawat provided dxcellent hospitality . General manager vijay joshi took good care of everything . I would recommend the green view hotel
