Ayali Riverside Resort by Alivaa- Rishikesh

We were charged extra money for breakfast however it was mentioned in itinerary.

No ventilation in room. No shelf to keep toiletries. Very local toiletries.fake advertising of garden.queen size bed.very small rooms

Location,calm , river stream in front of the resort are key points ,so beautiful ❤️

Food needs improvement,variety is there but it has to be more tasty and better .Breakfast needs to be more attractive.

Staff was helpful. Food was good. Room was good. Bathroom was good. Had all facilities. Helped us in arranging taxi etc .Buffet was very good

Not related to this resort but too much music in nearby resorts. This destroys the peace of the area as a whole

Courteous staff and cleanliness. The location is excellent. Special compliments to the Chef for amazing taste and variety.

The resort is located quite close to a gushing stream, surrounded by lush mountains. It’s a visual delight. The staff was extremely courteous., they left no stone unturned to make our stay comfortable. The room was slightly smaller than my expectation, but that’s nothing given the beautiful surroundings and well-maintained property. On top of that, the food was absolutely delicious (we had all three meals there on different days).

Mobile network doesn’t work (except Jio sims). The WiFi wasn’t working either during my stay. Maybe inform the guests about these things at the time of booking.

Great hotel,Amazing location, surrounded by mountains, facing a liver where you can bath, So beautiful and peaceful. We have been treated like princesses by everyone. Very good restaurant.If you are in Rishikesh and want to escape town and breath nature, I strongly recommend this place.

Everything and everyone was great.

Location. Peaceful & scenic

No awning, carpet in room was wet, giving a damp smell. Room needs a sliding jali door to ensure ventilation and flies/ insects are kept out. No covered veranda to sit outside.

The property is near the tributary of Ganga river which is a plus, then they have a good area for open garden where I could sit and relax with family. It’s dog friendly too. They also have their own pet named Julie who was friendly. Staff was courteous and hospitality was unexpectedly good. Food taste was awesome be it breakfast or lunch. Parking space is safe and good. Water bottles were provided without any questioning , it’s 7 km from ram jhula so you’ll need to drive 25 mins if you’re going there from the property. Overall a recommended place to stay if you want to relax with family and especially your pet.

Room could have been a bit more spacious, bathroom inner locks not functional, rest all good

Right on the river side (tributary of the Ganga), this is a new-ish well-staffed property, with lovely food.

The sign board of the hotel is not visible on the road Washrooms require a lot of work: exhaust, shower curtains , caddy, hooks etc.

The landscape of the resort is excellent.

There is severe power issue at the resort which lead to the burning out of my charger. Power fluctuation is severe. The cable TV was not functioning properly.

It's a camp not a resort

It's not as nice as it looks in pictures... its a camp site not a resort..poor landscaping... only the beds were nice and comfortable

The amazing location of the resort just beside the Huel river.It gave the impression of glamping rather than a hotel or a resort but with all necessary hotel facilities. The staff ,in particular Mr Shobhit Rajhbhar was exceptionally friendly and cooperative. The stay was a great value for money

The Ayali is a recently built property it seems, because the staff needs a thorough training specially their sales staff. I made reservations a month before through booking.com and just 9 days ahead of my travel received a call from Ms. Bhavna from their sales team and we were asked to look for other options. When we asked her to send a cancelation from booking.com she was audacious enough to deny as she was not responsible as per her. She even reached to a level to tell us that their team can deny us accommodation at the last minute also so better we look for options. After investing 3 working days booking.com came to rescue and somehow made the reservation available to us. Hotel was supposed to take entire payment at the time of check-in however again as a surprise Ms. Bhavna asked for some advance payment as a deposit. The property is at the extreme end of Rishikesh & the main gate you'll find always locked, you've to knock the door to get in. Staff is courteous but lack etiquettes. Another group was offered some breakfast from live counter and when we asked we were denied and then were given the same breakfast some time later without explanation. Rooms are pretty big but not much furniture to use. Bathrooms are a mess, no designated space to take shower hence whenever you use it, water logging happens. Breakfast menu definitely needs some upgrade, very sad spread they offer. There is much more to share, but I guess if they improve a bit of this also, including Ms. Bhavna would be helpful for them to build their image. Until then a big NO for this property, as they say The Ayali - An Un-Hotel experience, trust me they mean it.

This is relatively a new property, the cottages a little small in size but are very clean and well kept.The river is just outside and very accessible.The food is good and staff is very courteous.

For the price point they charged it might seem just a little overpriced.

The calmness of the place, extremely cordial staff ,food was really good, very well mainted. The manager Mr Pokhriyal is a gem of a person.

The name plate of the property that is placed in the air entrance could have been well lit and made in white base, so that the first timers won't face any problem to locate it in the dark.
