HOLYWATER Hotel By Ganga Kinare

Small hotel & attentive staff meant that if you had a request, in less than 5 minutes, it is fulfilled. On the days you feel a little more indulgent, the fancier sister hotel, Ganga Kinare, is only about a 7 minute walk away. Room & shower were awesome

Sometimes there was a slightly musty scent from restaurant furniture but this was not consistent. It did not impact food quality, however.

Staff were really nice especially receptionist staff. Kanchan was very helpful at giving advice and we particularly liked the care that was put into managing our concerns.The gulab collection was an interesting touch with ganges water to take away. Very well thought out. Loving move by the owners. I took the dip in the sister hotel and thought it was very private and the security staff was attentive to ensure safety. Beautiful location for the dip too. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

There was slight heat in the kitchen staff between themselves, which was difficult to ignore during breakfast.

Breakfast was awesome and the lady at the reception was amazing and super helpful to help us with any request and also helped set up our tour for Rajaji National Park last minute. Very much appreciate that. Thank you!

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Bed was big and comfortable. Bathroom and shower were very good too.

There wasn’t a window I could open to air and ventilate the room. No daylight either.

Rooms are good, family room is quite big with outside view. Hotel is new so quite maintained.

Mattress were too soft, not comfortable at all specially for elders & guest having back issues.. we requested hotel staff to do some alternative arrangements but unfortunately they couldn’t do anything. Breakfast starts at 8:00 am which is very late for many guest & even after request they were quite rigid about the timing.

It had a lovely rooms and lovely bathroom . The staff were incredibly helpful, and it was very good value for money. The restaurant was also very good. Again staff were excellent inside the restaurant.

Nothing because it actually was better than I had hoped, so there is nothing negative to report.

Excellent breakfast buffet. Lovely restaurant with attentive, sincere staff. Respectful reception staff. Great sister hotel close-by where we had lunch and attended an intimate aarti at the private ghat, also a morning yoga session. Safari organised by reception- enjoyable. Room with balcony, fridge, nice bathroom, nicely serviced every day. Lovely gift on arrival and departure.

Very very very over priced . Its a rs1000 hotel which the selling fot 5k . You can easily find a better hotel near by. Location is good. But very expensive .with no facilities..even the property is òld zero value for money.

The most expensive rooms are just above the National Highway which is incredibly noisy. If you are sensitive aim for the cheaper options.

Location is Good on the road side and good for family interested in Triveni Ghat Aarti as it is like 1.5 km from property , from Ram jhula 15-20 minueted and 30 minutes to Laxman jhula Another plus point is complementary access to Ganga Kinare resort (another property just 200 meters away from same company) which has breathtaking Ganga view , private ghat and daily Ganga maa Aarti in plus there is sports room for kids so it’s kid friendly as well , this all faculties are complimentary for Holy water guests I liked the hospitality the welcome (where they give you holy beads and do tilak and also give you holy and pure gangajal when on check out )Breakfast diner awesome taste without garlic and onion simply the best Satvik food , breakfast has lot of items covering south-north Indian cuisines , plus the western (oats, cornflakes , muesli,etc)My special thanks to the whole team and specially “Rekha” for doing wonder-full decorations for my kid birthday and for the cake , the whole staff was very supportive thanks

Room sizes are little small but manageable

Amazing hospitable family for our spiritual retreat. Kanchan from the front desk really organized our stay. Varr the restaurant had the best food in Rishikesh. We had most of our meals here.

It was a little away from city center

Courteous and helpful staff. Restaurant food esp the temple thali is very good.

Room is uncomfortable, no ventilation and windows to the room. Bed ridiculously spongy.. would simply slide down from sides.

Everything about this place was good staffs were very welcoming and always ready to help.We really enjoyed staying here and shall visit in future again

After Aarti at ganga kinare hotel, Tea is not complimentary for holywater guests.That's not good.

Comfortable stay. Good rooms. Not big just enough. Because of some function booked in private ghat etc the facility was refused. Rest very good place at decent price point.

The restaurant attached to the hotel is great, very interesting temple food. Breakfast was nice.

The street from the hotel to its affiliated larger hotel Ganga Kinare could be made a bit cleaner and more friendly for tourists.
