Great location and environment, nice food, comfortable rooms

It often took three or four requests to get served food or drink. The waitstaff would say yes, and then not do anything, even for simple requests. The managers were very nice and competent though. Also the hotel did not have plug adapters for international travelers and the rooms don't have international outlets.

Fantastic service by Mr Arham and the team. Made us feel welcome even before we entered the property.Amazing views from the room, from the restaurant and basically all across the property.

Arham & Jimmy were so helpful, they told us the history of the area & went out of their way to show us the local villages & towns. Arham has a great knowledge of the stars & on a clear night we did star gazing. The chef, Rowie totally meet our requirements & cooked the most delicious breakfast & dinner for us. The location of the retreat is scenically beautiful, peaceful & perfect for having a quiet retreat.

We had an incredible experience at this hotel during our recent stay in Nubra Valley. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such warmth and hospitality by the staff, who went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed. The team’s attentiveness and kindness made us feel right at home, and their dedication truly enhanced our stay.Our room was nothing short of perfect. The accommodations were spacious, beautifully decorated, and offered a breathtaking view of the majestic Himalayas. Waking up to such a view every morning was an absolute treat, and it made our experience even more memorable.A special mention must be made of Chef Ravi Bane, whose culinary skills turned every meal into a delightful experience. He made sure to prepare each dish using fresh, local ingredients, and every night we were surprised with something new and delicious. The attention to detail in the food was outstanding, and it added a personal touch to our stay that we will not forget.Despite staying during the mid-winter season, the hotel provided us with excellent heating throughout our stay. Our room was equipped with a bed warmer and bathroom floor heating, which made the chilly weather outside feel like a distant memory. The warmth and comfort we experienced indoors were much appreciated during the cold nights.We’d like to express our sincere thanks to the entire team for making our stay so special. From the welcoming staff to the amazing culinary experience and the cozy, well-equipped rooms, everything was beyond our expectations. We are already planning our next visit to Nubra Valley and are excited to return during a different season to enjoy the new expansion and the pool. We can’t wait to experience the hotel in warmer weather, and we’ll definitely be back soon!

The property, how well maintained it is. The staff and the restaurant staff especially! There are a number of activities to do and spend your time away. My personal favourite are all the puppies on the property!!! They never disturb you unless you want to play with them

The shower pressure is ridiculously low and because the property is spread over 24 acres the wifi never connects

Exceptional location. Starry skies. Sound of the river. Shabir was a terrific help as we planned our trip to the property. Abhilash did a smooth check in. Sonam in the dining area went above and beyond. Chet- a good chef. Syama provided good service.

Great views. Really good food. Variety of experiences for guests to choose from. We particularly liked the village walk, and even the river walk even though it was muddy when we did it. The staff were very attentive and pleasant.

Wifi wasn’t as strong and the spa could be improved too. But still overall a great experience.

The Spa facilities need to improve a lot.The room tarrif are high as compared to other.The location is perfect

One of the best resorts I have stayed at! It was great that I did the booking of activities like BBQ and stargazing at sand dunes. We enjoyed the experience, and our stay was great. The staff has been very hospitable , especially Shabir, and we are looking forward to visiting again.

One of the best resorts in Nubra Valley, on the banks of the Shyok River. Designed for discerning travellers in search of peace, the retreat seeks to combine comfort and simplicity with a touch of opulence while paying homage to its vibrant heritage. Imagine waking up to the chirping of the birds with the glorious snowpeaked mountains . The resort has best local foods and caters to the Dietary Preferences of all the guests. We are thankful to Chet Chef for arranging vegan and gluten free foods.Shabir and team do wonderful job.

One of the best eco retreats we have been. We loved almost everything about this place. Be it there aesthetically designed cottages, food or their curated experiences. Village trek by Dolma was an amazing experience. In the evening, we also did the stargazing at the resort and the guide was well knowledgeable. Joydip, Shabir and his team did the incredible job to make our stay incredible.

The stay at Lchang Nang was the highlight of our trip.The staff is extremely polite and hospitable.The food is delicious and very well curated. We recently visited this beautiful resort located in the Nubra valley. The view from aesthetically designed cottages is breathtaking. Food is great prepared with local organic ingredients. Chef Chet introduced us to their vegetable garden and explained the flora and fauna. We enjoyed the Shafale and Thukpa prepared by Chef. Recommend my friends and family not to miss this place while you are in Nubra valley.

We loved this Ecofriendly resort located at this peaceful and serene part of the Nubra Valley. We enjoyed the Barbecue and Stargazing at Sand Dunes in the evening. Ajay, Chet was very polite and served us the organically grown tasty food. We are coming back soon.

It was a great stay at this amazing retreat located in the pristine and beautiful area of Nubra Valley. Food is amazing and the personal preferences were taken care in the best possible way. Cottages have the amazing view of himalayan mountains. We loved the experience of local culinary dinner at the 400 years old house located on the Silk Route. Thanks to Shabir , Chet and Ajay for taking our special care.Highly recommend this place.

It was a memorable stay at Lchang Nang. Located between the tri Mountain range , the View of Rooms is magical.Food is awesome with lot of local options.We enjoyed the experience of BBQ and Stargazing at Sand Dunes. Joydip ,Chet and Shabir has been wonderful hosts.
