Hotel Friend's Home

Clean, comfortable, courteous staff and in a quiet area of the Thamel. Close to restaurants and shops.

Location, friendly staffs, and room itself

Not special but a little bit not clean inside electric kettle.

great hotel for a rediculous price.great room, great location, friendly staff

Beautiful hotel, fresh new rooms, professional service, very lovely staff, helpful, I’m so happy, bed very comfortable, good quality of food! I highly recommend to everybody who looking nice, quiet place with high standards

Great hotel! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The room was big and very clean. The breakfast was great! Thank you for the hospitality

The location is centrally located and close to everything! The staffs are super nice. The owner is also a great man who has his own tour company and is willing to set that up for you.

Sorry to be this detailed but I found a cockroach in one of the rooms and I guess that’s because we’re in city center but needs to be properly cleaned

Pros: great location, clean rooms. endless supply of hot waterCons: pictures of the breakfast buffet are just to get you in the door from the booking.com website.Breakfast is not a buffet at all and the food they serve is bland and boring. We ate out in Thamel even though the breakfast was free at the hotel.Wifi was not that good as well.Smoking is allowed even in the hallways….management doesn’t care Overall: This place could be better if they had better upper management.

Young and very professionnal staff. Very welcoming and polite. The luggage room is convenient, very practical to store your luggage a few days while you're away. The street is not busy so the location is good. Many thanks for this stay !

Clean and enough big room and Comfortable bed helpfull staff Very good price

Staff very friendly, room comfortable and stylish

The room says it comes with a bath but none of the rooms have a bath. They lied about this.

Very close to shops and restaurants Staffs are very friendly and helpful

Sheets and towels can be cleaner

Fantastic location, great and clean rooms, wonderful and extremely helpful management and staff.

I like the staff working there. They are very polite and humble to the staaf. The room is clean and safe environment for all the customers.

This hotel provided a truly wonderful experience, largely thanks to the outstanding hospitality and incredibly friendly staff. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and cared for. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and were always happy to help with any request, big or small. Their genuine warmth and attentiveness created a welcoming and positive atmosphere throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking not just a place to stay, but a truly enjoyable and memorable experience.

I stayed in this hotel twice during my trip to Nepal and would return next times too. Great location, service and brekfast make the stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Very good location and super nice and friendly stuff made a stay unforgetable. Totallly recommended. Very good quality-price option.

HFH is in the tourist area of Thamel but everything you need is nearby and taxis are always available and reasonably priced. The room was spacious and comfortable. There were a few little issues but they are renovating and fixing these. Breakfasts were good but best of all was the staff. They were polite, friendly and eager to help. I would stay there again in a heartbeat ?

Current renovations are taking care of the few (very few!) minor problems.

Amazing and friendly staff always willing to ensure that our stay is great. Rooms are very spacious. This is our fourth time to stay here. The staff and manager are all great.

There was some remodeling work in progress. Not too noisy though.

The management and staff are excellent. This is our place to stay in Kathmandu. Warmest regards from South Africa. Highly recommend Raj and his team

The manager and staff are excellent made our stay absolutely amazing. We have stayed here four times, and will do so again for future visits.

The upper floors are being remodeled so there is some construction noise, but not unbearable.
