Had a great stay! The hotel is tucked away in a quiet side alley in Thamel, which allows for great sleep at night despite a central location. House keeping and service are top notch. Special shout-out to Suprita, Arjun, and Bishnu who were there for any question and super welcoming overall.

- breakfast was incredible , even includes custom omelette station and good espresso machine - rooms are very nice ! - service is fantastic . Everyone is so kind - location is right in the heart of Thamel Couldn’t ask for more

Nothing , it’s perfect

The breakfast and staff were really good. The bed was comfortable and the room spacious.

The room I booked was not free for the first night. Then I switched the room the next day and the new room had no window to open. When I came home one day the mechanism that opens the door didn't work.

Breakfast was good. Staff was good, very cooperative, helpful.

BATHROOM, it was worst than a public toilet. showers not working properly, even it was difficult to take a bath in a standing position, no water bucket available in bathroom, Hotel rooms are very dull and you never feel refreshed inside the room. The moment you open the room you get stinking smell from room.

Wonderful breakfast I liked the omelette to order and cafe latte plus fresh fruit and many side dishes in an outdoor covered setting. Place had lots of friendly staff with perfect English and big welcoming smiles.Beautiful view of monkey temple in the distance from bedroom window.

The hotel might need a sign off the street it is set back away in a private drive and my taxi driver was confused at first. But this also makes the location quiet of street traffic.

We stayed here for 7 days over the course of a month, before and after our Himalayan trek. It felt like a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu’s hectic streets.All of the staff were exceptionally kind and attentive. Suraj made us feel at home and helped us with many things such as exchanging money or getting to and from the airport. The restaurant food and service was excellent too. Dibesh was especially memorable, always greeting us with a warm smile and anticipating our needs.The rooms were very clean, breakfast was included, and the location was perfect.

Asking of tip by the Bellboy upon arrival for guiding me to my room upon arrival. When he didn't receive it immediately, the Bellboy walked every morning by my breakfast table in the restaueant. The rooms are noisy, so I can hear everything of the next rooms such as flushing the toilet, tv and conversations until late at night or early in the morning. The cleaning personnel, while cleaning in other rooms talks loudly early in the morning. With all respect, they need to teach the cleaning personnel to either bath properly or use deodoeant, because standing in the lift with them and also in the room, you could smell a heavy swet smell.The hotel needs to teach or send the restaurant personnel to a hospitality course because the are polite and helpful, but while sitting at the table enjoying your breakfast, they began taking your half empty plate? so I needed to tell them to leave the plate because I still enjoy my breakfast.

The place is in the heart of Thamel, but almost quiet and peaceful. Helpful staff, great breakfast and exceptional value for money.

We had some maintenance issues which took a while to address, but eventually we got upgraded to a suite so no real harm.

Conveniently located in the heart of the Thamel District. Hotel had a lot of old world charm and staff were extremely courteous and helpful.

Our sink leaked. I understand why most hotels have you put your room key in the slot to turn on power to the room (lights, tv, a/c), but don’t have the room’s fridge tied to that same switch. It defeats having a fridge in the first place. They didn’t want to give us a second key until I mentioned that I had medication that needed to be refrigerated at all times. At that point, they gave us a second key that was for power only (didn’t open the door). Bed was odd shaped and uncomfortable.

I want to personally thank Arjun Sapkota for his incredible kindness and efficiency. He was always ready to assist with a smile, making sure every detail of my stay was perfect. Suprita Shrestha was an absolute joy to interact with—her attentiveness and genuine care made me feel like family. Suraj Lamsal impressed me with his professionalism and quick responses to any request, ensuring everything ran smoothly. And Divya Shrestha, thank you for your warmth and dedication; your efforts in making my stay comfortable did not go unnoticed.Whether I was starting my journey or winding down after the spiritual trek to Kailash, the Tibet Boutique Hotel felt like a home away from home. Great location, clean and welcoming

Poor water pressure for shower

The details of this charming hotel are a sight to behold. The interior and exterior architecture was subtly beautiful. Excellent staff all round and the breakfast was a good variety.
