Hotel BnB Mhepi

Hotel BnB is a quaint, pleasantly comfortable hotel with a very attentive and personal staff. Bed was comfortable and room was nicely attended to by housekeeping. All menu items were delectable and prepared with care. Lush patio area great for dining. A++

One of the greatest stays of my trip to Nepal. I loved the food here, the staff are courteous and always eager to help. I loved their peri-peri chicken, which was of extra taste and flavor. They do also have halal food available (which I didn't take). Furthermore the place is so peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The road to this hotel during rain is a pain.

Well, I booked this property for a night stay but my project in Nepal did not complete as expected. I had to extend my stay due to several circumstances. Stayed with them for almost a month. There was chaos in the city due to protest but everything was well taken care of here regarding security, food of the guest, which I couldn't express in words and thanking them is not enough. This place is safe, perfect, peaceful and away from hustle and bustle of the city. I am always grateful to all of you Sajeet, Mani, Baa. I highly recommend this place.

There is nothing I should dislike.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff were friendly and professional, always ready to help with a smile. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere and the comfortable bed, which made for a restful stay.

We stayed here for over two weeks while volunteering at a local school. Everything about Hotel BnB was amazing—clean, comfortable, spacious rooms, delicious food from the restaurant, the lovely outdoor garden, but best of all, the staff and service was phenomenal! They were so kind, always helping us with whatever we needed. For example, our first room (3rd floor up) had an issue with the phone line, so there was no phone in the room. So if we wanted to order room service, we had to walk down three flights of stairs to the front desk. Being old and out of shape, this was a little tiring (but a good workout, on the upside!)? However, Suman easily remedied the situation by giving us a WhatsApp number to text to save us the trouble of having to walk downstairs when we wanted to order room service. From the attentive and friendly front desk staff Suman, Paras, Kabina, managers Mani and Sazit, to the always friendly and ever-industrious housekeepers Mistri and Sarmila, to the chef Sundip and night guard Baburam, everyone always made us feel welcome and part of the family. We developed true friendships here, and when we come back, we will most definitely be staying here!

The best part of my stay was my encounter with the sacred Rudraksh Tree in their garden. I have never thought of finding the holy tree in any hotels. So lucky I am. Thank you so much for preserving it and making it available to every devotee of Rudra. Everything else of my stay was perfect.

The mater paneer was too salty, I do not know if my salt consumption is low. But without hesitation they took it back and served me another course of it, which was perfect to my taste. Thank you so much for making everything memorable.

The warmth of the room, hot coffee and hot shower after being soaked in the rain was life giving. I was so happy that I could get hot shower after being in the rain for about 10 mins. They helped me laundry my wet clothes and upgraded my room.

Well this was my second visit to this hotel. But it was not as pleasant as the first visit. During my second stay, it was raining in Kathmandu. Since I was coming out of Kathmandu, I needed to take a cab to the hotel from the bus station. There were road constructions going around which stopped the cab in the middle of journey and I needed to walk about 700 meters. The road was slippery, muddy and water everywhere. I do not know if the construction is over. The hotel has nothing to do with the construction but make sure it's not raining and the road construction is done.

The room is comfy with all required amenities. The staff are always there to go through any help.I had the best peri peri chicken here, would definitely recommend this item.

My sleeping was disturbed by birds sounds in early morning.

This was my second visit to this property. They kept all my luggage and belongings while I was on a tour outside Kathmandu Valley. They even picked me up to around midnight from the bus station as I was stuck in a traffic jam for almost 8 hours. Kindly avoid road trips to Lumbini.

They didn't allocate me to the same room I stayed on my first visit.

Nice garden, friendly staff, clean, good food

The staff are here to take care of all your needs. Always helpful and friendly. The hotel is kept very clean. Bedding was warm and comfortable. Shower is very hot but let it run for a few minutes first as it’s cold initially.

Though the breakfast is not included in the booking, its was good for the price being offered. I enjoyed the coffee at the garden, which is the best spot inside the hotel. The staff are always there for you!

Location is extremely peaceful but a bit away from Thamel.

I had the opportunity to stay for two weeks at this fantastic hotel after completing the Anappurna Circuit. It's a perfect place to relax and plan your next trek! The atmosphere is very peaceful, away from the chaos of Thamel. Great Wi-Fi and good food. And the best part is the staff. They're incredible people and helped me with everything! Thank you so much!

Little things that got fixed right away.

This is not my first time here. It is a quaint, intimate hotel with a very attentive, kind and friendly staff. The service is personalized but not obtrusive. Much care is taken in the cleanliness and maintenance of the property. Rooms and bathrooms have always been very clean at check-in. The menu is varied and the dishes are prepared to order, always fresh. The WiFi is strong; I've never had problems connecting. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and I definitely plan to stay here again!

Really clean room and facilities. Helpful, friendly staff and a solid option for somewhere to stay. Loved the garden with birds singing away whilst having breakfast.

Nice accomodation quite far from the city centre BUT we a have a good point here: relatively quiet in the night. This is important for Kathmandu. Staff incredibly nice, helpful and full of humanity and kindness. Comfortable rooms, clean, well arranged.

The problems are the same in all the facilities in Asia: design and structure of the bathrooms have to be entirely redefined. I suggest to use indrive or other apps for the transport from the airport to the hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel BnB, where the staff’s friendly and professional behavior truly stood out. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe throughout my visit. The hotel is located near Lainchaur and the Indian Embassy, making it convenient and accessible. Highly recommend it for its excellent service and secure environment!

The staff were excellent very helpful and friendly. The room was great very spacious and clean. Location was also quite good.

I spent a lovely couple of days staying at Hotel BnB Mhepi before and after several weeks trekking. A big thank you to Mani and all the team for making me feel so welcome! They did everything they could to answer my questions and ensure I had a comfortable stay. This included advice on places to visit, where to get bus tickets, and booking me taxis to and from the airport. I felt very safe walking around the residential neighbourhood Hotel BnB Mhepi is in - an easy 20 minutes walk from the main tourist bustle of Thamel. I enjoyed being one of the few Westerners staying at the hotel - it was really peaceful and felt like a more authentic Nepalese experience :)

The shower was cold - but that’s pretty normal in Nepal, and cold showers are good for you! :)
