Kantipur Village

Warm staff, professionalism, the room was clean and felt home, the food and ambience was great. We really enjoyed our stay felt home. Convey our heartfelt thank you to all the staff that looked after us. From the food to the warmth that all of the staff showed and served was indeed the best highlight for us. Spa was amazing with experienced professionals with affordable price compared to others. We will definitely recommend kantipur village to everyone that we know.Regards

Breakfast was decent. Room was spacious and comfortable. Water pressure was good.

Water sometimes remained lukewarm instead of getting hot. Also, despite confirming three times with the front desk that I needed a taxi for 445am to get to the airport by 5, when I came down they said “did you need a taxi for 445 or 545?” If they didn’t remember, they should’ve asked me instead of waiting til the morning of departure. Because the taxi didn’t come for 15 minutes, it threw off my entire airport situation. Basically, the line for check in was so long/moving so slowly, that I didn’t get to security til 640, and boarding started at 655. I was not able to buy a water or breakfast at the airport before my long flight like I would’ve been able to had they asked me to confirm the time.

Tucked away from busy main street. Rooms are clean and spacious. Few minutes walk to Kathmandu Durbar. Good sleep and feel safe even there were the protest going on outside. Breakfast is good. Staffs are very attentive and welcoming

The property was clean, the staff were very nice and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. Everyone went out of their way to make sure our stay was excellent.

I think the staff was great, we didn't have our breakfast so they made the coffee we ordered complimentary. They also remembered that it was our second time. My partner was annoyed with the AC going on and off - it got really hot!! The hotel also had a bunch of tourists that made so much noise at 5 in the morning so definitely ask to place you in a quieter floor, the staff is great and I'm sure they'll oblige.

The staff is very nice, very accommodating, making a lot of efforts to help the guests feel comfortable. Beds were the most comfortable we had during our stay in Nepal, although at first we found them a bit narrow for a 4-star hotel, but they were much better than the beds in the other hotels, which were more expensive. Of all the 4 hotels we stayed at during our stay, this one was the best, also in terms of value. We returned to Kantipur village before flying out, canceling the other hotel that was closer to the airport. Breakfast is absolutely great, the best one we had, including espresso and Nepali tea for no extra charge! We hope this hotel will continue to improve and offer good quality services. Thank you very much!

Housekeeping could be better. The room was a bit dusty and the floor never properly cleaned but it's how it is everywhere, it seems. I am sure the staff will take measures to improve.

Excellent communication. My flight was delayed 24hrs so they transferred the night I wasn’t there to a night two weeks later Greatly appreciated Also organised transport from airport $10US.

The hotel was in a great place. The staff was very kind and helpful. Their English was really good and they were able to help you with anything. The 15 min massage was great and relaxing. They also offered to store our luggage there for the rest of our trip in Nepal. I really recommend this place.

The room were spacious and very clean, with great decor. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The buffet breakfast was delicious with variety of options and the location is great.

We were greeted by Kiran and she was warm and welcoming, further along we met up with Raj and he was also very polite. Each staff member were very attentive and made us feel well looked after and treated us respectfully. We must say this the best hotel that we have stayed so far in our trip! The room was very clean and the hotel is in a great location, very close to the hustle and bustle of Thamel yet the room was nice and quiet.Shristi and Michael

The location was ideal to explore and experience the old Thamel area. Located in a quiet area at the edge of Thamel, it was perfect for a good nights sleep. The service, the food, the facilities, were all very good. The roof top restaurant has great views and food.

There wasn't anything to dislike. Perhaps, and if anything, a bit more support and knowledge from the reception staff on where to go to exchange money and to organise tours. I arrived without much of a plan or knowledge of Kathmandu. But not a big deal, the staff were all very nice still. This is a crowded area so make sure you are OK with that.

Very clean big rooms, very well decorated and really good friendly staff, it was a very pleasant surprise. Room prices were very reasonable for what you get.

The suite rooms are very spacious with en-suite bathroom and another toilet in the living area. Very nicely done

It is a 4 start deluxe property and we found the deluxe room to be a bit tight but very nicely done. Close proximity to major sights in Thamel.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and always available. The place is quiet, spotless, and perfect for relaxing. We also used the airport pick-up service, which was fantastic. We’ll definitely be back!

Everything i can go short on words from the cleanliness to hospitality they are the best from the time i checked in they made sure to take care of me like a family member the rooms are super clean and the staff is extremely friendly and polite it is by far the bestest hotel i have ever visited in my life special thanks to SHRISHNA, ARPAN, SMITA, RUKESH, KIRAN for going out of the way and taking care of me and not to forget at all mr sagar for showing me the city around he knows alot about kathmandu and he is extremely well behaved and polite i wouldnt have been able to see the city the way he showed me and answered all my questions I am highly impressed by the hospitality and the way kantipur village has now become like my home

I like each and everything about the property it is by far the bestest hotel in thamel you will find that just provides comfort

The location is fantastic, the room size of the suite is more than expected, the staff were helpful, the breakfast was amazing, and the suite bath was a spa which was a welcomed surprise! The whole stay absolutely met our needs. The hotel looked after our bags when we were on our Trek, and when we arrived back 2 days early, they extended our stay and were very accommodating. Overall, Exceptional accommodation in a great location in Thamel. Close enough to the action, but just off the main strip, friendly staff, large rooms, well priced - we will stay again when we visit next.

The wifi would drop in and out at times, but it always came back on. Other than that, there was nothing we didn't like.
