Lovely hotel, great staff, excellent location

Great hotel, for a short trip to Bruges. We had a family room with bunk beds which the kids loved. It’s a great location with a public carpark next door as the hotel doesn’t have its own (With electric car charging points). For the weekend it cost us an extra €56 euros in parking. The hotel is right next to the train station, literally next to it so super convenient to head into Bruges. It’s also only a 10 minute journey. Just plan your trip as the trains aren’t very frequent, only once an hour outbound and return. The last train back was 9.54pm. (Double check the time table though as it could change. )
Better coffee facilities in the room, Nescafé sachet was a bit disappointing.
No tower in showerPoor Internet speedNo Netflix no YouTube no parking for carsI paid 195euro per night20 euro per breakfastI think not really okay for money spentSorry but they need to take action
As above
Spacious rooms, stylishly decorated with a superb ensuite shower.
Conveniently situtated to explore Blankenberge but on a very noisy corner with traffic noise, tram noise and the sounds of a clickling pedestrian crossing. On a wet, stormy and very windy night the tilted windows kept banging; normally this would not have been a problem.
Clean and functional
Property was fine. No parking though.
Location
Bathroom was stinky like someone used it right before we entered. No fresh air. Bed was damaged. No sound isolation as was promissed.
I loved our spacious room and big comfortable bed. My sister needed an accessible room as a wheelchair user and the staff changed this with no trouble at all. We loved the room top pool also.We were close to the beach and enjoyed walking to the pier to watch the sun set!
We were advised breakfast was 25 euros each, and this seemed unreasonable. As a party of 4 we couldn't justify spending 100 euro on just breakfast, but that was our choice. I am sure it would have been yum!
Comfortable and relatively big rooms. Great location, not by the beach but right next to the train station. Nice breakfast selection and quality.
The snack selection at the bar is very limited. Good for drinks though.
Central location
No hotel parking but car parking available next door but pricey
Dog friendlySpacious roomNice breakfastGreat locationCar park with electric charging next door (paid extra)
A bit worn in placesInternet/wifi difficulty to useQuite expensive for a plain „chain hotel“
Just in the centre that’s it ..
Whene we are coming to hotel reception don’t even say good evening or welcome or little bit smile . That’s strange. And I want to drink something in the room there is nothing else except water and teas or coffie If I am getting hungry there is nothing to eat .. pillows are really not comfortable that’s all ..
The room is comfortable and spacious, the staff is lovely, location is great.
staff helpful and friendly, the rooms are nice and the location is great
Great breakfast choice with hot and cold choices. The roof pool looked good. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Location of the hotel is great,
It wasn't very easy to park.
Room was very clean and comfortable.
Price and quality of the food was not up to usual standard of Mercure. We arrived after 5pm and were told we couldn't order a meal as they stopped taking orders after 5pm. It was pouring with rain and we had to go out in the rain to find somewhere. We were never informed of us beforehand. The drink prices were so expensive it cost us £13 for my wife's Jack Daniels and coke which was unbelievable. We have stayed in Mercure hotels many times and this was the reason we picked this hotel. We use to have a business card. We will not be staying at this hotel again. The food at breakfast was ok but again not upto usual standard.
Breakfast was delicious, staff was very friendly, our room was clean and quiet.
Sad that the pool was closed by 8 PM. It would be lovely to enjoy a late night swim.
Location and comfort
Ordered a taxi form the reception with an hour notice, taxi didn't show up until 90 minutes after that, I accumulate delay at my meeting
Great Location, wonderful pool! The room was comfortable and spacious and the amenities are nice, especially the still and sparkling water. Staff was amazing, friendly and accommodating.
The floor by the pool entrance need fixed: one tile is loose and a metal bolt is sticking up.Sadly no access to the balcony in the room. The rainshower doesn't fit in the shower and gets the whole bathroom floor wet. All the towels were frayed and rough. The free coffee in the room is terrible.Breakfast is not included and very costly to add on, especially with a bakery around the corner.
