    • Right next to the train and bus station. The Belgian owner was friendly.Shower was good.

    Cons -

    • Everything else. Cigarette smoke everywhere, dirty used rooms, breakfast was not prepared on time. And it contains of just bread with jam. Stay away.
    • Cleaning guy need to be alert.Someone from other rooms or above was causing lots of noise till midnight.
    • Right next to the train and bus station. It's a run down place. But it's only two stars after all. I hope they continue the reconstruction work they started downstairs. That looked good. Room doors need a paint job and better finishing work. The top stair steps need realignment. Sheet had a stain.Bathroom is small.I had to swat down multiple mosquitos and a fly on arrival. So I kept the tilt window closed. Even though there's no plain source for them in sight on the street.

location was good. the problem was parking. I ticked parking & wi-fi when I booked in the internet. But when we get to the area they don't have a parking space and the receptionist told us that we can park but we have to pay. we we're shocked as I requested for parking. anyway, we arrived around 5pm and we have to pay 2 hrs (5pm-7pm free till 9am the following day).

room was okay and ventilation. though some of the stuffs are broken like the drawer under the sink, electric fan but they replaced it.

The host was very friendly and attentive. We could fit our bikes in the storage and that was a plus !The hotel is basic but comfortable. We were a bit worried about tha noise from the trains but the isolation worked out fine. No problem with that. The breakfast was good, not crazy with so much you couldn't eat. Just the basic ( Fine ! ) stuff

The location, the bed was very comfortable.

Toilets need a little bit of cleaning.TV not working.Staff hardly spoke English fluently. It's Belgium Flanders: staff need to understand that customers are not interested in their local language policies to only SPEAK Nederland in Flanders

Its clean, they have a nice shower and the staff is friendly. Only the breakfast is a bit mid.Its definitely with the money and the location is perfect, just know that your next to a train station and a lot of different people come there, it has nothing to do with the hotel. But just keep it in mind. This was my second time being a happy guest

The breakfast was mid but overall it was a good stay

    A poor experience

No wifi, no tv signal, no iron, no hairdryer and the toilet seat was broken. The public area needed clraning and painting. Their is a lot of marks on the paintwork. The only item that was supplied was a fridge.

    9johnPosted on: 9-30-2023

location next to train station BUT NOT NOISY,

TOILET TOO CLOSE TO BATHROOM SINK, YOU HAVE TO SIT AT A SLANT TO FIT YOUR KNEES INTO THE SPACE BETWEEN SINK AND TOILET SEAT.

    6GeoffPosted on: 9-19-2023

Location was good with restaurants and cafés on hand , it is alongside the railway so some train noise is inevitable. Mt

My room was dreadfully it was tiny the tv was not connected and the toilet flush was faulty but I am sure other rooms are much better.

Although at check-in the guy spoke virtually no English, we managed somehow, understanding a little bit of Dutch. The hotel is located conveniently right next to the train station and very close to the city centre.

The property location is excellent. It is located right next to Aalst train and bus station. Staff are very friendly and helpful. This hotel is not fancy in any way but the room was perfect for my purpose; clean and comfortable. Shower was good.

Its an awesome location right next to the Aalst station - very convenientNice little kebab shop 'next door' although it seems like it might almost be part of the hotelVery low-key hotel for an overnight stop on a work tripIts fairly cheap

The wifi in the room was aweful and took a few goes by the staff to even get me connected. I missed the first half hour of a really important online meeting because the wifi kept dropping out and I had to move down to the lobby to reconnect. There was a heap of train noise - my room was literally next to the train tracks.

    Catastrophy

Absolute mess. Dirty, Rodents, extreme cigarette door, disgusting smudge on the walls. Holes in the door. I don’t want to remember that moment for the rest of my life.

    6LPosted on: 5-26-2023

The beds were goodConsidering you pay 5 euro for breakfast, not too bad.( bread was dry though)Nice staffIf i needed to stay at aalst for 1 night i would book tbis hotel again

Toilet seat and wastebin broken.Mainly clean, but edges and corners dirtyAt breakfast the waiter had an argument with a guest, can t say who was right, i guess if guests think there is free beer in a 5 euro breakfast they are not realistic. But it was disturbing.to eat and listen to this. The waiter was really friendly to us.Bread at breakfast was dry ( old?)

Closeness to the station, comfortable beds

No cups for hot dinks in the room.
