Hotel Milestone1915

Excellent location, easily accesible, very close to the sea front, only a 10-minute walk away from downtown. Very nice room with extra large bed and sea view. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. A lot of parking space right outside the hotel.

Wi fi was slow and a foul smell came out of the bathroom sink. Rather expensive by local standards.

The room was large and the bed very comfortable. There was plenty of free car parking spots available. The shower was a good size and plenty of hot water. The reception staff were delightful and went above and beyond to be helpful. Unfortunately there was little they could do about the poor ventilation systems and noise from adjacent rooms. Fantastic view of the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge.

The room was no smoking but other rooms were not and the smell of smoke permeated the room. Even after placing towels along the bottom of the door the smoke still got in. The bathrooms share a common ventilation shaft that is not negatively pressured so the smells from the next door toilet came into ours. ? finally the sounds from the adjacent rooms transferred through the walls so that you could hear snoring and mobile phone noises.

Kettle needed replacing. Flywire on window would not retract. Bathroom sink was jammed.

Good location. Easy to find from the main road. Seafront walk into the town. Friendly staff.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The little dog Daisy was very cute.

The rooms aren't very soundproof, we could hear our neighbours shower/toilet. Price/quality was a bit off.

Though the breakfast buffet had cereal, there was never any milk available. Was grudgingly supplied when asked (every morning of the 3 we were there)

Location is perfect for a stopover en route South. Just off the motorway. Plenty of parking and a great view of the Canakkale bridge.

The hotel is waterfront, and our rooms were sea view. The rooms were large enough and comfortable. Plenty of onsite parking was a bonus and convenient. A short walk into town finds the restaurants around the harbour district, in addition to supermarkets and other shops.

Language barrier was a bit difficult here, though that's our fault for not speaking Turkish. The rooms were stiflingly hot, and it took a long time to explain that we desired the aircon to be turned down - only to find out that the individual controls in the rooms were actually centrally controlled from the front desk. Why?? If you plan to arrive at the hotel late afternoon, be prepared for a frustrating wait for the logjam of heavy traffic waiting for the ferries to clear. You may have a wait of an hour or more if you can't find the waterfront dirt track detour bypassing the main road.
