I booked this for my daughter as a gift she told me it was dirty, fridge was leaking everywhere, hairballs in bathroom, cups weren’t clean.

Convenience and price. King rooms are spacious and have a bath.

A few undesirables outside the motel at times but not the motels fault.

Call Elliot in the car. Parking was free off the street.

Bring air plugs, you can hear everything through the single pane windows. From cars opening to Street noise. The hot water was lukewarm no matter how long you turned it on for. We had to take extremely quick showers, nobody at the front desk upon leaving to let them know and nobody on check-in. Check-in. There was a number on that door of the reception since they were closed, and the number was missing the first two numbers "07". I tried calling the number on the door to get our key and it would not go through. We did not have access to our email since we are from out of country. I would not stay here again or recommend this place. The drapes were hanging off, insect in the bathroom, ripped screening, the bathroom look like they tried to remodel it.

of course the excellent restaurant, friendly staff,room size. cost.

motel situated in the flight path of the end of the airport runway,good thing planes stop at 10pm.Only stating this for admin FYI, room 34 has had a front door replaced by the looks of it and doesn't seal properly so light from the hall way shines in all night, the bathroom windows broken, don't close,so a draft n noise enters, but you can shut the door at night.

Receptionist was so lovely, she went over and beyond to make our stay comfortable

Location, easy access and parking rooms are a great size

Great location. Clean and tidy rooms. Caretaker was such a wonderful and kind person. Family recommended staying here and I’ll be like them and definitely be using them next trip or Mackay.

This place is run by thieves. I booked a night here for my family and after speaking with them on the phone getting ALL the details clear, so no unexpected payments. I was told id have a $250 bond, no dramas I'll pay that then told I had to book online and call them back. I did just this. When I called back after booking and paying, i was told sorry no availabilities. Bullshit they had plenty of rooms. Then NO REFUND. I had to email bookings.com for my refund another dead end. Heard nothing back from Marco Polo. Within a 2 hr period of this happening I had 4 OTHER PEOPLE tell me of similar stories of Marco Polo taking their money and not allowing the stay then not refunding. My partner toddler and I needed somewhere as we had an electrical fault at home and needed to keep our daughter safe until Monday morning and Marco Polo stole our money.

THEY ARE THIEVES..THIS PLACE TAKES YOUR BOOKING, YOU MUST MAKE ONLINE THEN TELLS YOU NO AVAILABILITIES AND KEEPS YOUR MONEY. THEY ARE SCAMMWRS AND THIEVES

My partner and I like our room view, size and comfortable bed. We like the onsite undercover park, feel safe with our vehicle and enjoy the fast wifi.

Nothing much. Just have to ask if needs clean linen or towels or top up of TP, coffee as extended our stay.

Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Good facilities, pool, restaurant, shops nearby, kitchen and washing facilities.

This property is great when you’re travelling for work. The location was well maintained and cleaned.

Unfortunately, I’m a non-smoker and there was a very strong cigarette smell every time I walked out of my room as it wasn’t far from the smoking area and a lot of people stand outside their room to smoke

The rooms were extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable.

The location was handy however it may be on a flight path as there were planes flying over and the traffic noise was quite loud and annoying all night.

Bed was very comfortable and the shower had good pressure. Staff were warm and friendly. ?
