Great views and grassy areas
Locked up like Fort Knox and rooms are very dated
Great location, great pool.
No blankets on beds, minimal supplies, one tea towel, one bath mat, no hand towel, no internet, no pool towels, and no cooking facilities other than the microwave.
Great views of the bay
We were looking forward to relaxing in the restaurant after a long drive and a couple of drinks by the pool. Restaurant was closed and no restaurants nearby to walk to, the place was unstaffed and the rooms had very creaky beds.
I had a garden room, but on arrival, i noticed i could also see the ocean. The location was good.
My room had some cobwebs. The door was very heavy to open and close. There was a lock missing to lach the door secure.Bed was squeaky and uncomfortable. The shower had very little water pressure. The spa didn't really have bubbles. The restaurant meals were overpriced, not consistent in serving sizes, and just disappointing.
When checking into our room it was evident that the photos definitely didn’t match the room we were allocated. Despite the staff “upgrading” us to a more presentable room it hadn’t been cleaned properly with spiders and mould throughout.
When we arrived we had to collect keys from the restaurant. We were given keys and asked where the room was located. The staff did not know (not their fault as the restaurant is not run by the resort). We wandered around a bit, trying to find the room until someone who lived there helped us locate it (a map with the room highlighted might be a good idea). We booked a room with a twin bed and a queen. In the room was a queen and a pull out couch. When I contacted the phone number we were given, we were told this was the room, I explained that this was not what was advertised on booking.com, the pictures and description were different. I asked if there was another room and told they were fully booked, they could refund our money. We decided to stay as it was after 4pm on a Saturday in school holidays. In the room: no wifi, small outdoor area, not cleaned, wood from the lattice fence fallen off, chair pads on the ground. The pull out couch had no pillows or blanket. The hallways outside the rooms were not clean. The pool was a good size, and it was nice to have the bar looking out over the pool. Restaurant and bar staff friendly and food nice.
The property was filthy, no staff at reception waited 40 minutes to collect my key. The room was dirty, dirty floors, dirty bed linens, hot water took 20 minutes to heat up before you could shower. Half of the light and power points did not work.
booked for 1 adult 2 children only 2 towels 1 blanket
Great position
Dirty. Old. Tired.
Terrible place
The whole room was wet from the time we got there to the time we left , aircons all around us on freezing but no people in the rooms , there was hair all over the apartment as well as thick cobwebs and it looked like a bottle of red had been poured down the bathroom (only sink ) sink and not even rinsed out properly, no fire alarm, the aircon filters filthy, virtually no cutlery or crockery ,not even a tea spoon for a cuppa. Booked and paid for two nights , left after one . Will never return, should have asked for money back but just wanted to get out of there
Very lovely view and atmosphere.
Key got stuck going in and out and really hard to use. No one at reception both days to discuss.
The pool
We were not told until our arrival, the restaurant was only open 8.am till 2pm. We had to go into town. The rooms were in need of a good overhaul. There was no internet in rooms only down in the dining room.Taps in bathroom kept sticking, shower had big cracks in the wall.Ants crawling in bathroom and along bench top.
That you could see the ocean
Very run down booked our room but was not aware the restaurant and bar is closed until March.
Location
Bar and restaurant weren’t functioning, main reason of stay, and room had ants all over the place
Location
No internet, the polls were closed and wasn't told. I had kids and had not having internet or swimming was not good. No blankets on bed only a sheet
There was nothing that made me say that it went well, other than we had somewhere to sleep.
Open the bar and restaurant on Australia Day instead of leaving the guests stranded with no access to these facilities without notice until Australia Day brekky time to find restaurant closed. The rooms are dated and bathrooms have mould , ants were everywhere throughout the room and found some in the sheets. The pool access is rediculous , you need your room fob to get in and out of the pool area, it was ludicrous. The place felt deserted the only staff on deck was a gardener pool man who was very disorientated and spent Sunday night wandering aimlessly through the resort without any real purpose, a bit creepy if you ask me. The pool at night has many dark spots so it would be easy for some child to drown without anyone noticing. Trying to get Pizza sunday nite was near impossible with Dominos claiming the resort was to remote and trying to get Uber to the Resort was not possible as they have the resort registered as no public access with Uber. So we were literally stranded as we had a few drinks at the Eimeo hotel at lunch and got a taxi hoime from there otherwise we would not have been able to get lunch. The resort is tired, run down and very uncomfortable, bushes and tress overgrown to the point you have to duck going to some rooms and I didnt notivce one low hanging branch resulting in a cut forehead ( minor but annoying ) . There was no one on Reception for the whole 3 days we were there and no one to check us out. It was an absolutely terrible experience.
