The motel was as expected with clean fresh rooms

Location to shops

Room could do with a good clean. Freezer needs defrosting, windows and screens need a good clean, and the garden could do with some work.

The location was ideal for us

We were there for 5 days, there was no housekeeping service at all during this time and no facilities to sweep out the room etc. the kitchen utensils , plates etc were all missing matched and a bit of putting .There were no security locks or chains on the door and we found it a little off putting as we were never sure the door was locked securely. There was a sofa but it was worn out and not at all comfy to sit on .

Big room, everything was clean. Good communication. Great parking.

The sheets of the bed sadly weren´t too comfortable. Kitchen could be better equipped.

Fridge was leaking water think it was defrosting

Location to town and short walk to Tuncurry rockpool. Spacious room with microwave and toaster. Washing machine and dryer free to use on property.

Room was clean but looking tired and worn. Gravel driveway and parking was noisy.

It was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful and the location was great it was very close to all the shops and many food options like sports and bowling clubs and pubs were in walking distance

Not good

Very much in need of maintance, everything seemed to be broken the owners lived upstairs and they were so noisy

Kids running up and down the verandah, being loud outside my room. Woke me up. Was pretty early. One night I had to park on the street as there was not enough room on site.

This place was incredibly overpriced. Feels grubby and unsafe, particularly for a single female traveler. Will not be returning.

The lady who checked me in was lovely and very friendly. The room was Clean and so was the bathroom. Good supply of toilet roll, toiletries etc... use of a washing machine in the next block, which was very handy having been on the road for 10 days.

No complaints. It was a pleasant stay

microwave is not heating up - needs replacing. check wardrobe as they are a bit dusty. bedsides and coffee table needs replacement if possible.

Close to where we needed to be

Place is old, kitchenette blind old and broken, mirrors left with oily streaks and bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable. Only one bedside lamp and no lounge. Photo is deceiving.

Clean enough but felt really tired. Nothing like the pics. Probably more of a typlical Motel - really just for passing through.

Felt tired. Beds were not the bestHad to drive to get somewhere that was decent for food.

I stayed in Tuncurry Motor Lodge two years ago and found it to be clean and comfortable. I’m guessing it has new owners, because now it presents as run down and poorly maintained.The room I was given had a dripping tap in the kitchen sink and taps were so tightly turned off I was unable to turn them on. The mattress on the bed was very uncomfortable, so I asked for a room with a better bed and was moved. The new room had food and drink left in the fridge from a previous guest along with other food litter and the shelves were dirty. The kitchen blind was dirty with broken slats and the coffee tables veneer surface was badly peeling

Aircon broken. 2nd floor with bad leg even though empty rooms on ground floor.Needed to checking before 6pm otherwise key left in room. Very basic furniture..

Location was ok, and the room had been renovated

I asked for milk at check in. Told I wouldn’t need it, go to room, no milk ( sorted).On entry The bathroom light was on and toilet lid up. Now I don’t expect a paper seal but this didn’t looked like it had been cleaned.Making coffee, I noticed the bin hadn’t been emptied either.The bed did appear to be made though .I did notice mold on bathroom windows and in the bathroom. Pity because they did look like they had been updated.
