JW Marriott Marquis City Center Doha

Had a great stay at JW Marriott Marquis City Center Doha. Everything was excellent the room was spacious and comfortable, the service was professional, and the overall experience was very pleasant. The location is a big plus, connected to City Center Mall and close to major attractions. Would definitely recommend.

The welcoming package is as excellent the lady at the reception from one African country next to South Africa I have forgotten her name treated my check in nicely . At the restaurant on the dinner night this two amazing lady one from Philippines her name is Rhea and the other lady who work at the reception of the Fuego restaurant she is also an Asian lady and she is their designer she made our stay and our dinner so amazing and entertaining with the cake present and wonderful cars she present all thanks to JW Marriott, Rhea takes nice pictures and she is so good in it and she thought me how to also do some stuff on my phone while taking pictures this last days of my stay in Doha was absolutely fantastic, I also love the access to the mall directly from the hotel is so amazing and made my stay more stressful . I willCome back .

The location was very good

They have loud music playing in their open air club till 12 mid night and it’s so loud that you cannot sleep. They don’t inform customers at the time of booking. For business travelers looking for a quiet night of sleep this is not acceptable and is not the place.

As someone who travels extensively and has experienced numerous hotels around the world, I can confidently say that this particular JW Marriott stands out as one of the best. The reason and highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the incredible staff its just perfectly matched, impossible to assemble a team like this if you want to. From the moment I arrived Mark at the reception was exceptionally welcoming with his warm and professional service. The culinary team was equally impressive, with chefs Isum, Sakib, Tanzil, Halima, Monthes, host Meryem, and a lot others, unfortunately not able to mention all of them, who were not only incredibly talented in cooking but also kind and attentive. Also general manager is going to solve all the issues for your comfortable stay, I just asked for a baby potty, but they didn’t have it, he said they going to figure it out and in an hour they bought and left the new one for me in the room, all these things make a big significant to me. Their dedication and warmth truly set this hotel apart, lots of thanks to the crew of JW Marriott Marquis City CenterDoha, that’s the reason I will certainly come back to this hotel. In short, the outstanding staff and the remarkable hospitality make the JW Marriott Marquis City CenterDoha a top choice for any traveler.

Big layout room, nice and comfortable bathroom, room cleanliness, connection to the Mall and Metro. Excellent breakfast and late check out!! Staff was kind and supportive (especially Giuliana and her colleague at Fuego and Raid at Amaru).

Cigarette smoke smell around all the facility, even in the bedroom. AC too high in all the hotel. Restaurant choices for lunch limited, general low food quality in all the restaurant. No outdoor options available since also in the only outdoor option (Amaru) there was AC. Lounge was old and snacks were limited and only sweet. General hotel facilities seams very old and not renovated, and finally the location is far from the city center with no option of walking outside.

I booked a room for October 26 for one night instead of from October 23 to 25.When I arrived on October 23, they told me my booking was for the 26th.I asked Booking.com to waive the amount and send it to the hotel, but the reservations manager, named Inda, refused.Then I asked her to change my booking to November 14 for 3 nights and pay extra, but she also refused. Every time I submitted a request, she declined it.I contacted both her and Booking.com, and they said the refusal came from the hotel.She was uncooperative, impolite, stubborn, and although she spoke well, she was not helpful at all. She rejected everything without trying to help and kept repeating the word “policy.”Unfortunately, I have stayed at JW Marriott hotels around the world, and no one has ever treated me with such rudeness, stubbornness, and lack of respect.Even though the amount was only for one night and the date was wrong, she arrogantly refused to make any change.

Location good, ''protected'' passage from metro DECC to the Hotel, also CC Mall is in proximity and just few minutes' walk..Room size was great and well equipped, Nice partial view to the sea.Pool is great, with many sections and Jacuzzi, hamaks, bedsSPA amenities, Sauna and Steam - are great. Amenities are good, breakfast variety and versatility is good, reception is very responsive and quick to react.Staff is very supportive and helpful.

Nothing much to say, just very minor ones:1. There is another Marriot Marquis in the area, during check in went there, and was directed to JW Marriott,2. in pool is age restriction, below 18. (Even if kid knows swimming), and compliance is strictly monitored by vigilant lifeguard. 3. HVACs can't be adjusted, either need to switch off, or leave running only in one room.

Loved everything about this hotel! The location was good, and the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed by a beautifully scented atmosphere throughout the reception and common areas. The staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to assist.Our room was spacious and comfortably accommodated my family and me. It truly felt like the ideal place for a family stay. The direct connection to City Centre Mall was also a huge plus, as it made shopping incredibly convenient with plenty of stores to explore.Breakfast was exceptional – delicious, healthy, and offered a great variety. We looked forward to it every morning! The building also had a variety of restaurants for dining in the evening in case you don't want to go far from the hotel. The spa and pool area were also serene and well-maintained – a great way to unwind.I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The only thing I’d say is that the interior furniture could benefit from a slight upgrade to give the space a more modern and brighter feel. That said, it didn’t affect our overall experience in any way.

Had a great time staying at the JW Marriott.We always had a special liking for the Marriot hotel and being a couple who enjoys to travel have always tried to get ourselves accomodated with the Marriott in any country we have been too because of the wonderful experience they give us ,and JW Marriott Marquis have been no different with a very helpful staff to guide us with lot of warmth, along with the cleanliness of the room,the location,and the size of the room which gave use a lot of comfort.With Jw Marriott Marquis being very close to city centre and also with the easy access from the hotel to the mall ,it also helps us to keep ourselves occupied.Thank you all for a wonderful experience

Amazing staff always polite. Especially the breakfast staff were very attentive and polite and always had a ready smile.great Concierge by Mark Anthony who was able to assist me last minute with a laptop cable for my work. Rooms were big and felt comfortable. Reception staff were very assisting.

Amazing staff, clean rooms. Close to plenty food options. Mall is right there for a walk. Qatar is awesome!!

The room was very spacious and the staff was kind enough to accept our request for giving our rooms at the higher floor. The breakfast was SOOO amazing and had a huge variety of cuisines. They also provided a hot jacuzzi which we enjoyed during the winter.

The lighting in the room was less. during the day time it is fine because of the sunlight. But at night, the rooms have less lighting.The swimming pool was said to be temperature controlled, however, it was not and the water was really cold. we couldn't enjoy the pool.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the JW Marriott in Doha City Center for two nights. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. Upon arrival, I was assisted by MOHCEN BENSAADA a staff member who facilitated an early check-in, making the process smooth and efficient. The room was immaculate, featuring a stunning view from a high floor. The overall experience was exceptional, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Doha. Five stars.
