Doha Central Plaza Hotel

Room was spacious with high ceiling. I found it quiet from neighboring noise. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

Upon entering the room, there was a misty (moldy?) smell that was overwhelming. From previous reviews, I knew it was from the aged and spotted carpet. The room looked outdated.

Strong cigarette smell in 5 star hotel??? Airport shuttle was not there and wanted to charge extra more than a cab.

Easily moved room to quieter one.

Grim. Tired. Felt dingy and depressing.

There were a couple of minor maintenance issues.

The staff were very friendly and helpful during my stay. Mr. Gamal was especially kind and helped carry our luggage from the hotel to our car. I really appreciated this. The hotel is clean, well maintained, and comfortable. I recommend this hotel for its good service.

No toothbrush and toothpaste

- The address in google map was very difficult for taxi to find it and I paid triple to taxi driver to reach even I searched the place I could not find - the WiFi connectivity and speed , it was so slow and all the time disconnected- calling to hotel to find the address , did not get the address by hotel stuff

No organization.Staff are not professional and rude .As per my reservation, it should be three beds, but they were two only. I asked the staff to they one more bed, they said we don’t have . “Go and complain “.Then they said we can give three blankets on the floor . Use it as a bed!!!.

My stay at your hotel was overshadowed by an unacceptable, deeply frustrating experience caused by a male front desk employee. His behavior was far beyond unprofessional—it demonstrated a complete disregard for respect, hospitality, and the most basic principles of customer service.From the moment of interaction, it was clear that he lacked the fundamental attitude and competence required to deal with guests. His tone was harsh and dismissive, and he carried an uncalled-for arrogance, as if assisting was a burden rather than his responsibility. His manner of speaking to guests was shockingly inappropriate, and I personally witnessed multiple situations where his behavior created discomfort and embarrassment for others.The level of misinformation he provided was not just incorrect—it was delivered with carelessness and an unacceptable level of indifference, causing confusion and unnecessary complications during my stay. The way he handled inquiries showed not only poor training but a complete absence of professionalism, raising serious concerns about the standards of staff you choose to represent your hotel.It is extremely concerning that someone who demonstrates such conduct is placed at the front desk, the very position that shapes guests’ first and last impressions. No guest should be subjected to this kind of treatment, and the fact that this behavior occurred repeatedly indicates a serious management oversight.This is not a minor complaint. This is a call for urgent corrective action, because this employee’s behavior does not just reflect badly on him—it reflects directly on the hotel’s reputation, credibility, and operational standards.I strongly expect this matter to be addressed immediately and decisively, as leaving such behavior unchecked sends a clear message that the hotel is willing to tolerate conduct that is far below professional, ethical, and basic human courtesy expectations.

I asked them in extra bed for suit it was in my reservation and they didn’t provide till my end reservation, was telling will provide but no one take action and our third friend he has to sleep on the coach, very bad dealingWater was interrupted need to request TV was very bad

I booked a 2 bed room but they gave me 1 bed which is not fair. They also tried to blame that issue one me which did not make any sense. Then they eventually apologized. The bath didn’t have hot water all cold which isn’t good. But the room is fairly clean.

Outdated. Not clean! Smelled very musty. Booked with children but was not accommodated for them.

Bathroom was not clean front office people are not friendly , went for check in at 3.00 got room at4.00 only

No internet TV that is really needed with current life, who watches TV programs that only speak Arabic, better keep google tv on your screens
