    Pros +

    • I liked my first welcome by hotel employee not because she is a very pretty lady, that is nice but mainly because I felt like a had a dedicated genuine personal assistant. The cleaning staff were the invisible heros, they did an excellent job
    • We liked best the beach and the SPA. The whole hotel has a nice view to the city and a good location because it is not crowded and it is near to the airport - so when you come with the plane, it is not a long drive to the hotel.
    • Room was spacious and clean. Staff was nice. Grounds were well maintained and the proximity to the airport was very good.

    Cons -

    • Really nothing bad, except it would have been better if the guests had an option on what essential oil to use in their stay, providing plain standard Ala Mandarin Oriental Doha is a safe default, I liked the medicinal herbal notes, but not everyone does
    • If you arrive by rental car, it would be nice to have a sign (maybe I did not see it?) on the diverting road coming from Ras Abu Abboud Expway because vis a vis from the hotel, you cannot turn right, you have to leave the expressway and go to the parallel road long before.
    • Room service was very bad. Some items were forgotten. The food I did receive did not match what was on the menu. Took a very long time to get anything.

The facility was beautiful with spacious outdoor areas between villas. Our unit had no shared wall so it was extremely quiet and private; no fear that we were disturbing other guests. Breakfast was excellent with a wide tasty selection of options. I highly recommend this hotel.

The bourbon selection is limited but this is Qatar after all.

All was amazing except the stuff

    1. We asked to decorate the room for the birthday in a specific time, the didn’t do it2. No one told that even if you have a half board, you need to come to the restaurant reception every time you finished the dinner and sign that you visited it. Why? I have already told my room number when I entered the restaurant. 3. If you have drinks somewhere in the hotel, they are asking your room N. For me it means, that I will be charged at checkout. Apparently, it’s not. They will come to your room at midnight while your toddler is sleeping and you will pay. They need to fix this part of service

Located near the airport, pretty landscape and beautiful Middle East architecture.

Was impossible to sleep in the lower level room due to constant noise from the ceiling and walls.Rooms are not very insulated and you can hear everything from the upstairs room.I chose this hotel for my 15 hours layover and it was a terrible experience.I checked out at 4am to go to sleep at the airport since it was impossible to sleep with constant noise from the ceiling.Hotel front desk staff didn’t offer any solutions.I contacted the hotel and explained the situation and they didn’t offer any compensation for the terrible experience.Too bad, otherwise a great hotel

The hotel is not too far from the airport. It has two big swimming pools and a beach. Everyone is so polite and kind. Rooms are big and bright. Food is amazing, especially the breakfast. I will miss that too much.

About the hotel everything is amazing. The political situation in that region worries me. There was a missile attack in the city when we were on the way to the airport. Hope everything will be resolved peacefully.

Sharq Village & Spa Doha is a true oasis of oriental luxury! ?✨The hotel enchants with its authentic Middle Eastern atmosphere — traditional architecture and beautifully decorated rooms with attention to every detail create a sense of comfort and elegance. The service is outstanding: staff are always warm, attentive, and ready to assist. The pools are simply amazing — spacious, well-maintained, and offering a perfect setting for complete relaxation. This is a place where you can truly unwind and enjoy the harmony of your stay.Highly recommended for those seeking a blend of oriental charm, comfort, and world-class service. ?

The facilities are roughly 20 years old but in great shape. The whole resort is outstanding in beauty and is impeccable. The villas are a nice touch as there are no elevators or hallways but you really get a lodge feeling. The pools are nice and the beach is clean. The service and attention to the customer and guests is the best I have ever seen.

We were asked before arrival about special requests. We said we wanted a quiet room what we got is an adjourned room with a connecting door to another room. We could hear every word the other guests were saying and had to change rooms at midnight before an early morning flight. I think that's a big miss. If you're going to ask guests about special wishes then also make sure to address them. Especially when most of the rooms in the resort are standalone rooms.

The property was nice, the location is convenient to access the city. The beach is neat and clean, and the staff is friendly, polite and helpful. My son had a great time at the kids club doing arts and craft. Complimentary cake and balloons were sent to the room for my son's birthday.

The amenities at the Sharq are second to none. Whether it is the rooms, swimming pools, restaurants and dining, private beach or spa, all are of the highest standard of quality. The cleanliness and condition of the hotel amenities and grounds is immaculate. What really makes this hotel stand out though is the staff, at all levels. The level of customer service and care is exemplary. All the staff, throughout the hotel are geared to ensuring that your stay is as perfect as it possibly can be. They are all very personable and manage to make you feel as though you are the only person staying there. A particular shout out to Melanie (Afternoon tea), Marouane (Guest services) and Manik (breakfast dining) who are outstanding assets to the hotel.

The breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful.
