The Ritz-Carlton Doha

The staff is very friendly , the swimming pool is nice for the kids , they have small area with goats and ducks ,the location is amazing near everything, definitely I’ll book it again .

The kids club is very small need more improvements, but they have nice activities my kids love it.

The location was not bad the staff were very friendly and they were able to help me also the food was very nice and very good

The price is little more expensive than other local hotels

Hospitality from all staff two thumbs up. Atmosphere of room, food in restaurant, and private beach of hotel is the best in town.

Rude security and ordered room services which the lady said 10 minutes max for my change she wasted an hour and a half as if she is never willing to provide the change didn’t like the idea pool and beach completely separate you waste time for the buggy and food by the pool which is shocking doesn’t serve after 12pm. Not recommend to come to this hotel again!

Every thing is perfect as usual not my first time to stay at the ritz carlton everything is amazing even the food

i had one problem with the bed and they fixed the problem at the same time so nothing bad

I have a complaint about some of the staff’s attitudes towards me, which I really hope it gets resolved and not repeated with other guests in future …Unfortunately, I got treated so badly by the staff, especially the security guard outside, who insisted that I put my bag in the machine even after I told him that I had a device related to my work and I made it clear to him that I am not comfortable with putting it, then he saw a Bag that said “candles” in my hand and he tried to stop me at the front door and not let me proceed to my room, and he treated me badly and almost violated my personal space, even after I apologized about not knowing the policy and promised him I won’t use the candles throughout my stay, “sorry but he didn’t deserve the apology and the promise” because unfortunately, he kept me in his head and told the other staff about me, “although I am an owner of a room for 3 nights and I paid around 2000 riyals for it”, then when I proceeded to my room and didn’t answer him, 2 of the hotel staff followed me right to the room and even when I had my DND button on, they followed me to the room and kept calling my room’s door phone and knocking on the door and asking me to come out just to give them the candles so that they can keep it with them with the front door security until I got out, which I finally agreed to do so that I can be able to sit calmly and get some rest .. In conclusion, unfortunately they made a big mess out of a very small issue and ruined my last day and made me feel uncomfortable and sad just because of this …

I stayed at the Ritz-Carlton for five nights with my family, including young children, expecting a luxurious and family-friendly experience. We chose this hotel specifically for its reputation, the beach, and the pools — but were shocked and deeply disappointed by the constant, overwhelming smell of cigar smoke in the lobby.We complained to the reception and lobby staff every single day about the terrible smell, but absolutely nothing was done. No action, no explanation, not even a temporary solution. The air quality was unacceptable, especially for children, and this is supposed to be a five-star property?It’s appalling that a brand like Ritz-Carlton allows such disregard for guest comfort and health. The smell was so strong it ruined the first impression of the hotel and made every return to the lobby uncomfortable and frustrating.If you are traveling with children or value clean air and a smoke-free environment, this is not the place for you. This experience did not meet even basic hospitality standards, let alone the high expectations that come with the Ritz-Carlton name.
