Shaqilath Hotel

I got a beautiful and comfy room, really luxury level. The host, Abdullah was amazing, a one-man show of concierge, tour organisator, personal driver and breakfast chef. I highly recommend this hotel, when you are in Petra.

It is very near to visitor center. Love the stay. Staffs are very kind.

Location is off main road but convenient to lots of shops and food. Very close to the entrance gate to Petra and Museum. The heart of Jordan restaurant is close and is very reasonable and close.

Showers are very small for me. I am 6'3", so probably not for average sized people. The wifi was off and on and several times could not conect, a big deal when you have to use to communicate with people.

Management was trying to price gauge on certain stuffs. They told us to take the back entrance instead of the front so that they can sell a ride to take you there for 45JD or more. If you don't want to hike much but want to see petra's main attractions only, go in from the front visitor center entrance. Don't listen to the hotel staff and take the back entrance that includes a lots of hiking before you reach the main attractions. If you're hiker go from the back, its easier that way to see the whole of petra. But like I said, at the end it just hiking for scenic views, there's no ruins at the back entrance. Breakfast wasn't good at all.

Really nicest staff I ever met, Super nice view , Super clean hotel and modern, I really enjoyed staying here, I forgot my laundry bag with all my dirty clothes, they kept it until I came back to collect it and they even cleaned it for me for free!!!Thank you so much , really best hotel in Petra

It’s was unexpectedly amazing hotel and generous personnel. They were so nice and kind. The room was big and clean, breakfast was very good, the location was also good (15 min by walk from Petra visitor center) I enjoyed my staying there. Highly recommended

Close to Petra (but uphill). Clean rooms.

Rooms have not the best acoustic isolation. Breakfasts could be better and hummus must be better.

Lovely rooms and good breakfast, good advice given about visiting Petra

Used friend for taxi and we ended up waiting 20 minutes, even though there are so many taxis in town. A little bit of a further walk from Petra entrance than expected (15 minutes). We were disappointed by the dinner, also told there would be vegetarian food but only salad and potatoes.

Great shower, great view and really clean room. Real treat for us. Super helpful staff.

The hotel is very beautiful, the room is comfortable, large and clean. The restaurant is beautiful and overlooks the countryside, and serves delicious breakfast and dinner. The staff is great. I will visit it again and recommend it

The property was very clean and tidy. The staff were really friendly. The hotel had a decent breakfast.

The recepcionist was kind and funny. The hotel provide taxi service. Good breakfast. Comfortable mattress and shower.

The aisle didnt have presence detection and the light is on during the night. The shower didnt have a caddy to place the shampoo and gel. Bad accesibility, you have to go up and go down several stretch of stairs.

A more than wonderful hotel, a staff that never stingy with assistance, the food was very tasty in the upper restaurant with a romantic view, we will definitely come back again

Modern, clean and huge rooms. Very comfy beds and shower. Good selection of foods for breakfast, from typical Jordanian to scrambled eggs and pancakes. The staff was expectional. Very helpful and kind. Would go again! Thank you guys :)
