- It's close to the Petra entrance, just 5min walk
Cons -
- Bathroom wasn't the cleanest, mould in bathroom tub.
- We had a room on the first floor facing the road, this was described as a 'view'.. It's an old hotel and does not feel clean at all, with carpeted floors, polystyrene ceiling tiles, old bathrooms. The beds were comfortable enough. The breakfast was awful, not good quality at all.
- The front deskman actually made us wait the arbitrary five minutes from 13:55 until 14:00 to check in—a bad first impression. The hotel is in bad need of a refurbishment. All the carpeting should be removed. In addition, the cleaning agents used have an overwhelming scent. in general the cleaning could be approved.

We liked the kind staff in the hotel. They were welcoming and tried to give us a pleasant stay.
The hotel is old and the water wasnt hot eough to take a decent shower. Our room was without any window and generally the hotel low maintainance. The breakfest wasnt rich or fresh enough.
location. its close the entrance to petra.
old, worn, smelly, i believe most of the petra's hotels are so if you not lucky enough to secure a room at movenpick you will have to settle for one of these.
Great location, very close to the Petra visitor centre. The beds were large and comfortable.
The showers were difficult to shower in
Hotel is perfectly located for visiting Petra.Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful!
Room was a little bit noisy
welcome gift, nice staff
average breakfast
A great place for value 5 min walk from Petra visitor center. Our room had a view to the visitor center, with comfortable beds and bathroom with hair dryer. You can ask for a lunch box during your visit in Petra, where the sandwiches could be a little better, but great to have something to eat during your trip. The receptionist was helpful, the only issue we had, we couldn't pay with card, due to unexplained error (not faced in other places in Jordan)
Close to Petra entrance (3 min), clean rooms
Overall it was a pleasant stay, if anything to improve - breakfast was not the best one (yoghurt and eggs were fine, but the hummus, bean, cheese or meat not so good)
Very best location just next to the entrance of Petra Visitor center. The staff was kind and helpful. Room was clean.
Breakfast and dinner can be better not the quality but to range of choice.
The very nice staff, the location of the hotel and comfortability of the room
Closeness to to the visitor Center and entrance to Petra.
Lack of options for breakfast. Appearance… the place needs an update.Room has an old damp smell upon entrance- cleared a little once we opened the windows.
Very nice hotel just few steps from Petra visitor center. Normal big rooms. Excellent breakfast. Stuff is very helpful and nice ready to help and give useful tips and tricks while planning your trip.
Great location, clean and comfortable, very friendly staff.
- The location was very good, 15’ from the Sky Gondola
- The hotel was very noisy, a lot of kids with parents fighting on the hallway during night time- The breakfast selection can be improved in quality
good hotel, clean and confortable. great location 2mn walk from petra s entrance
The recepcionist (with clear glasses) was extremely helpful, nice and whiling to help all the time. The location couldn't be better just a few minutes from the visitor center. Toiletries are provided. Sweet are provided for free on departure. The room is very big and confortable, same as the bathroom.
The lunch box was ridiculous, one slice of cheese between 2 breads.
The location is perfect, only 5min away from the visitor center to start entering Petra. There are many restaurants and shops around the hotel.
The hotel is a bit old and needs some renovation. The bathroom was very old to the point that looked dirty all the time. The windows could be better because it can be loud in the night since it is close to the main street that goes to Petra.
