I picked this hotel because of the location but at least during my stay it was I guess under construction. We would hear banging and sounds associated with construction all the time. Power was on and off for a the majority of the day. It seemed like we were the only guests in the hotel which was weird and awkward. Staff was friendly cleaning wasn’t the best.

Swimming pool out of action, restaurant closed, loads of building works. 20min wait to get to breakfast as lift did not work.

The hotel is located about a 5 minute walk from the main entrance to Petra and is surrounded by a few shops and many restaurants.The staff was nice and explained everything well.The breakfast was good with a nice selection of food.There are two pools at the hotel which was perfect with our stay with a 11 year old :)

The hotel is in between several hotels, with a short walk to the Petra visitor center. This was really nice after many hours walking in Petra.

The photos at booking.com look better than the reality of the rooms. This was a bit disappointing.

The location is good, about a 10 minute walk from the Petra visitor center. Rooms and beds are basic comfort, as were breakfast and dinner

A five minute walk to the entrance to Petra makes this an ideally placed hotel. The room was very large with three double beds. It was clean and had plenty of storage. Some things were a little run down but nothing to worry about. The pool was nice but very cold (I mean VERY cold). Helpful staff.

The food was okay but no better than that. We chose to eat out a couple of times instead. Watch out for the price of the local restaurants, they are insane! We paid over £100 for three sandwiches and three drinks in the Petra visitor's centre!

The location of the property was very convenient. It was just a 5 min walk to the Petra visitor centre and there were plenty of restaurants around to choose from. The rooms were comfortable with a nice sit out.

The staff were not very customer friendly. There was not even water and tea coffee maker in the room. And every time one needs water , we will need to walk to the restaurant for the same. We reached 30 minutes before the end of the breakfast time but a lot of food was already over.

Excellent location for an early start to Petra. Hotel is clean and tidy however is a bit tired. I didn't pay a top price so it was as expected.

No tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Great location only 5 minutes from visitor centre. Staff very warm and welcoming. They gave us a large room. Room was clean and comfortable but a little dated, if that matters to you. We were on a high floor and it was very quiet. Breakfast was high quality and good variety. Missing only fresh fruit.

The location of the hotel is very good. 5 minutes by walk you can reach Petra Visitor Center and Petra Museum. There are plenty restaurants and supermarkets near to the hotel. The room is clean, the bed very comfortable. The weather was not so good during our stay so we couldn't use the pool.

Hotel is really outdated and needs an massive renovation.Value for money is really out of orderYou have the constant feeling you are being ripped offThey say breakfast included but this was so poor that you take close to nothing

The location

It began with poor parking. Then check in staff didn’t even smile or say hello. My room A/C was horrible, even after they came to work on it, it never got below 24c in 3 days. My bathroom had a bad mold smell. This hotel is old and outdated. I was very disappointed

The location so close to the entrance to Petra and the immensely helpful staff made this place an excellent choice. We walked to the local restaurants, the entrance to Petra, and the staff were so kind and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. The pool was a bonus - a haven of calm after a busy day walking in the heat in Petra.

The common areas and breakfast dining room are a little old-fashioned and impersonal but it’s not a boutique hotel and doesn’t pretend to be anything it’s not.

The location is great, walking distance to the Entrance to Petra.The bar, a lively little bar to sit back and people watch. Watching the locals including Bedouin folk, buy their under the counter liquor, in a black plastic bags.Room spacious and bathroom.

Where do i start.This hotel is so overpriced. There are many other hotels in same location less expensive and offer same if not more. 3 stars at best, if that.On arrival the desk manager looked dishevelled, dirty shirt, poorly presented, remembering this is the first person you see representing this hotel.The breakfast is terrible, cold and boring 4 days and nothing changed poorly thought out.Get a new chef.Supervisor, in restaurant, moving breads and pastries around with his hands, there is no hand sanitiser available near or in restaurant.Soap and hand towel in the bathroom adjacent the restaurant was empty for 3 days. The omelette station ran out and the cook tried to tell us breakfast was over, it was not, he was very rude to my husband. If breakfast was not included, l certainly would not pay for it..A hotel that doesn’t supply water, where tap water can’t be consumed is appalling.We had a room with a large bathroom that had a multi functional shower unit.One of the water massage jets was extremely unclean and full of mould.I left this open to bring to attendant attention. It was closed up and remained uncleaned for our 4 day stay. Only hand soap at basin and shampoo in the shower.2 glasses in bathroom only. No other glassware available, though offers a mini fridge.
