Great location! Friendly staff! Nice room….very comfortable….nice hot shower. Ate a few times at the sister hotel across the street….food is excellent!

It is new facility and very clean. It is close to petra entrance. Staff is awesome and very helpful.

Location, staff was super friendly and highly educated. Customer service was amazing for a 3 star hotel. All of the guys remembered our names and never pushed for a tip. I gave them tips because of how they took care of us but wasn’t pushed to do so. The guy in the restaurant Abdo was super friendly just as the the front desk guy. I’ll go back!

Breakfast was good, location is a 5-minute walk to Petra Visitor’s Center. Dinner buffet at sister hotel (Petra Moon) was delicious, varied, and inexpensive. Get modern facilities at a lower price than Petra Moon and Movenpick next door. Front desk staff Ihab was so patient and extra-helpful when I tried to buy Grand Egyptian Museum tickets on line.

Experienced short blackout at both Petra Moon and Petra Icon on both days of stay. At breakfast, the chafing serving dishes had handles that were so hot, you can’t open them. I suggested they wrap napkins around the handles; we’ll see if they follow through. Other than that, nothing else.

I was upgraded to the sister Hotel “Petra Moon Luxury “I am not the usual person that leave a comment but this place worth it! You made my trip with my brother something to remember. Great place and great people.An special thanks for Mamon, Mohamed and another manager that helped us as well

The staff was excellent. Friendly and efficient. Room was spacious and comfortable. Location is great, short walk to the entrance of Petra and Wada Musa.

Pretty good location to Petra visitor center and bus station. Helpful and very nice staff member Ihab at the front desk.

Basic hotel for the 3 stars and the cost. I had an early departure and requested a to-go breakfast which was not good.

I booked petra icon hotel but they moved my reservation to their sister company which is PETRA MOON HOTEL. And it was worth to stay. The staff are welcoming from the security till the reception , even if they don’t offer me a welcoming drink. Thanks to Soufian from the reception for showing his affable manner. And if i have a chance to come back in petra definitely Petra Moon Hotel is definitely a top choice.

The staff was so sweet and very helpful. The bedding was pretty comfortable. The room was clean and we had enough space for two. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is exceptional as we were pretty close to the Petra site (~5 min walk).

We were upgraded from the Petra Icon Hotel to the Petra Moon Hotel before we arrived, so this review is about Petra Moon Hotel.Petra Moon Hotel is a nice hotel, just 100 meters from the front entrance to Petra.Breakfast and dinner have a wide selection of foods, so even picky eaters should be able to eat well. Breakfast even has made-to-order omelettes. And, we stayed there two nights...one of those nights, dinner was on the rooftop terrace, so you could see the city in the evening and at night. It was great!Our room was spacious and clean.

My only complaint would be that rather than answer a quick question about directions or info on a specific site at Petra, front desk staff will just push for you to use a guide they know. They will, outright, refuse to answer the question, and tell you they know best and you should just pay 150 Dinar for their friend who is a guide. Aside from that, everyone else at the hotel was kind and helpful.

Modern, newly build hotel close to the entrance of Petra. Very clean, well furnished but rather small room. Breakfast was good. Good buffet dinner in nearby sister botel. Helpful staff.

This hotel was very nice, and we enjoyed out time there while hiking Petra. It is close to the entrance of Petra, and made it easy for early morning and late nights if we wanted. The staff was attentive and helpful.

Clean and tidy hotel a very short distance from the Petra Visitor Centre, Museum, and Little Petra shuttle bus park. Comfortable room and very large bed. The breakfast buffet was varied and of good quality. A paid for lunch bag was provided for the day in Petra which was of generous size.

The air conditioning didn’t work so the room was stuffy and overly warm, and this was unable to be remedied during our stay. I suspect the system just wasn’t turned on due to low customer numbers in the hotel. There was upselling at check in for a driver to go to Little Petra despite them knowing full well there is a free shuttle bus service.

Great breakfast and dinner buffet. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable and modern room, good shower, kettle and coffee in the room. The room was quite big. Very close to Petra entrance.This is about Moon hotel as we've got transferred to sister hotel, and we were told in advance which was great.
