    Cons -

    • We all thought the breakfast was very poor. For the price we paid it didn’t reflect on the choices we would have expected.
    • Our room was at ground level where there is an access door. It was very very noisy. On the Friday night we were awoken constantly till 2am. The sink drain was somewhat plugged as was the shower drain. There was a musty smell which they attempted to mask with a very nauseating perfume plug.
    • The “apartment room” smells mould. There was No one in the reception nor the restaurant when I tried to check out at 9 am and the number they had on the desk does not directly calls the reception. On the information card they gave during check in, it writes the front desk is open from 8.30 to 11….

Friendly staff; good location; decent breakfast buffet

Absence of an elevator is really regrettable (not known beforehand) when having to carry luggage several floors up; remarkable absence of sufficient light: very dark bathroom and virtually impossible to read a book in the room during evening hours; limited number of seats available in breakfast room causing unnecessary waiting time; matras really too hard to our taste; quite a hassle to reach the hotel: first finding a parking spot on the outside of the centre of town, then trying to find a taxi (very limited availability), once in town having to carry the luggage on cobble stone street for another 150m (and as said before having to carry luggage oneself up the stairs)

Beautiful clean room, excellent location and very friendly staff.

The 28 euro per night charge for our small dog seems very steep. Most hotels usually charge less than half that amount.

very comfortable bed, high quality bed linen. lovely breakfast and very helpful staff

Lovely, spacious room with a nice mezzanine. The modern fittings contrasted well with the beautiful old building. Very friendly receptionist.

    Loved the authenticity and location

We stayed in the boutique hotel apartment. There were no essentials for cooking ie salt pepper oil. For someone to use it as intended they would have to buy everything, no kitchen roll. We stayed 2 nights, why buy those things for 2 nights? All apartments I hv stayed in before hv at least the above. The towels although good quality were old with holes and frayed on the edges. The bed linen had marks and holes in it. None of this really affected our stay but a boutique hotel??? One last thing, a comfy chair would be lovely. Thank you

    Lovely staff and great location

We stayed here 10 years ago and some upgrade is now required. Roof terraces poorly maintained

Perfect place to stay in Vejer, very central. Comfortable and spacious rooms. Lovely courtyard and roof terrace. Staff really go above and beyond. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay there again.

Quirky hotel, well located for visiting the old town. Very pleasant staff, nice breakfast.

We made the mistake of parking underground, at the "nearest" carpark and walking up to the hotel by the shortest route. Enchanting climb, if you are young and fit. Park at the open air parking and take a cab.!

Difficult to get in, especially if you are wearing heavy luggages

Breakfast was great for a boutique hotel the decor was beautifully presented it was quiet romantic and quaint. The roof terrace was spectacular. The little outside space was perfect for some quiet time to read.

The coffee but I am very fussy!

Lovely staff, great location in a beautiful town. The hotel was perfect for us, very comfortable and nicely decorated rooms, modern bathrooms. The junior suite with terrace was fantastic. Morning views are amazing with a coffee. Breakfast was also great. As with all of these hill top Spanish towns you won't be able to park at the hotel as the streets are narrow, but there are nearby carparks, one free one a 7 min walk away up quite a few steps or a paid for one at about 22 euros a night 4 mins away.

    10JuliePosted on: 7-27-2024

Rustic charm with spacious, clean rooms and home from home facilities. Really friendly staff and an excellent breakfast.

    10ZaidPosted on: 7-22-2024

Beautiful hotel, nice big rooms, very charming. Great breakfast and friendly staff.

Access is a little tough - you can park about a 3 min walk away but with light suitcases not a big deal. We had many bags bc of a long trip around Spain and it was tough to manage, but otherwise nothing negative at all!
