Hotel Madreselva - Grupo Califa

The Feeling. Probably most difficult thing to achieve and they did it. Sum of lovely staff, lush courtyard with lots of plants, very intimate atmosphere with candles, incense and company of Budha at the pool:-). Restaurant is everywhere and you can enjoy coffee or glass of rum in front of your room, everyone so peaceful and relaxed - even this very quiet old 1970 soundtrack from the bar was so lovely. Journey back in time in positive sense with a hippy resort feeling and endless tranquility.

Mosquitos:-). Nets on windows could be useful. And a bit larger beds. Can't say that I didn't liked to hear neighbors making love;-), but yes, you can hear next room quite well. Neither of these doesn't spoil, just a note for perfection.

Breakfast and the courtyard

The room was small and dated and tired. Curtains were old and dragged on the floor the whole place was tired I was disappointed as we paid so much money. Also it was pet friendly but not mentioned that pets were extra until we paid our bill!

Hotel Madreselva is a small complex arranged around a communal courtyard with lots of space for seating and relaxing - including a decent size swimming pool in a separate courtyard.It’s a short walk to the beach with some lovely chiringuitos overlooking the water.

For a hotel in the sea side would be great to have a fridge, it was missing. Maybe a TV a little bit bigger (bigger then 17")...

Beautiful pool and facility, dark quiet bedrooms

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, situated seconds from the beach and with several lovely restaurants nearby. It is worth noting the area is quiet which we were aware of, but this means the beach is empty and everything is very relaxing. The hotel was very good value for money.

Nothing really all was better than i expected

Beautiful little lush oasis across the street from the beach. Every room has a small little private garden terrace, which is great to relax. The inner patio is beautifully designed & a great area to read a book or sip a coffee. We loved the facilities, staff, the breakfast & pool area. Got some really good recommendations on restaurants and things to do.

The rooms are very noise sensitive, so depending on your neighbours this might be an issue for some people.

The hotel is a gem, really welcoming and with a lovely atmosphere. The pool and other common areas are very nice and it is a short walk to the beach. On site parking works well.

Only that the tap water in the village is not safe to drink. Although the village is a little run down. There was nothing we didn’t like about the hotel.

Great location right across from the beach, with easy access to many other areas along the coast.The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were airy and comfortable, and the food and drinks were delicious.

A hotel with a very Spanish feel to it. A comfortable room with a private courtyard. Lovely outdoor clean pool with sun loungers. Three minute walk to the beautiful isolated beach. Excellent breakfast provided in the outdoor patio area. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Beautiful garden and patio! Really charming and peaceful. Nice poolarea and very friendly staff. Very comfortable bed and a very clean room (every day). Everything (restaurants, beaches) within walking distance.

A small fridge in the room would be a nice addition to the room. Next to that the bar closed at 23, which we thought was a bit early. The patio and garden are perfect for a late night drink.

The tree shaded courtyard, the friendly staff, the delicious buffet breakfast with a choice of fruits and breads.I loved the private yard attached to each bedroom.

Staff was terrific. Breakfast was excellent especially the yogurt snd fruit.

Coffee could give been better.
