The view from the hotel is good, though the approach road to the hotel is dusty and off-road.

It is not Value for money.

View from property was splendid, staff were helpful. Good place to relax and enjoy the weather.

Property is 6km from market and down the hill, so you are always dependent on in house restaurant. Indoor sports pool and TT are chargeable which was not mentioned anywhere while booking online.

Perfect for relaxing and recharging the beauty of life out of husstle city life??The herbal garden, refreshing air, and the staff is also attentive. Will definately return for another soothing getaway...?

Absolutely loved our stay at Periyar Herbal Redort...the location is good and surrounded by nature and fresh herbal garden.The resort is well maintained, the corrages are clean and spacious. It is a good place to stay for relaxation?.

Had a great time at Periyar Resort.One of best thing is hospitality. The staff is alwys helpful and ensure that we have a memorable stay.The food is fresh , delicious and prepared well.Amzing everything was very good.

Staff there was no breakfast ,manager is very arrogant ,even the fun ask for heater they charge you extra money ,

Good Hotel to stay for few nights

The Location of hotel is not on road but have to travel down 200-250 meters on sandy zigzag roads which is not easy... Our Honda City car has less ground clearance and it was taking hits from the uneven boulders on the sandy road

The staff is cooperative however it seems they are short staffed, and need to be requested time and again for anything, everything you may need

The family rooms are a disappointment! The site shows a different depiction than what is offered.The approach road is very bad and risky! Rooms were not clean on check-in and there was no one to do it ..Cockroaches rule the place.. right from the kitchen, restaurant to the kettle in the roomThe pool table is broken, the TT table in shambles

Minimal cuisine options

First of all road was not properly build so it's hard to reach then staff was pathetic even they didn't care what guest are facing they only need money if you don't pay complete amount due to any reason they were so rude. Please do not stay there and if I talk about food pathetic tasteless uncooked then we complaint also but they don't care even they were not even ready to listen if you are visitor so not waste your time also place was not hygiene over all -10/10

The property has a lot of open area with gardens, cricket playing area etc. It has a good view of the mountains too. The staff is helpful.

The staff was friendly accommodated a group well, ensured that they were able to cater to our needs and food was amazing.

Washroom experience can be improved

I visited Periyar Herbal Resort with my family, including two kids and a toddler, two days ago, and it was an utterly disappointing experience. The resort's advertising promises luxury treatments, air conditioning, quality food, and enjoyable activities, but the reality couldn't be further from the truth.Firstly, the rooms were in a deplorable state. There were no fans, let alone air conditioning, making it impossible to escape the oppressive heat. Additionally, there was no provision for cold water, which is a basic necessity. This lack of basic amenities made our stay extremely uncomfortable.The food was another major letdown. Despite the resort's claims of offering quality meals, the options were very limited and the food itself was subpar. To make matters worse, both my kids fell sick after eating at the resort, indicating serious issues with their food hygiene standards.Furthermore, the resort's location is hazardous. No proper road leads to the hotel, and my car was nearly driven off a cliff due to the hazardous approach. This is a severe safety concern that should not be overlooked.The activities that were supposed to keep us entertained were either non-existent or poorly organized. We found nothing to do and no staff to assist or provide information. The lack of proper activities and facilities made our stay incredibly dull and frustrating.Clearly, this resort's glowing reviews and descriptions are part of a misleading marketing strategy. The reality is far removed from the advertised promises, and it's evident that they are more focused on fake marketing than on providing genuine hospitality.Overall, our stay at Periyar Herbal Resort was the worst decision we could have made for our vacation. The false promises, dangerous location, and poor conditions led to a terrible experience for my entire family. I would strongly suggest against visiting this resort.

Everything, NO roads to connect, 40 degrees and the slowest fan, NO AC after promising on websites, no chill water, no activiities... total waste and risky
