The staff is very nice and helpful. The room is clean, and the bed is very comfortable. I loved the pancakes at breakfast.

The hotel could use a little refurbishment.

Amazing place ! They have 10 towers it’s huge and very clean.Shout out to Selvia, Ira and Mohammad for making the experience even better ! I had an amazing experience and it started before I even checked in, they called me the day before to make sure everything on point, and asked for any request needed.And when I got there it was even better ! The friendly staff gave us one of the best rooms they have and answered all the questions we have.I felt like royalty inside I will definitely come back.

I loved everything about it. They even had constructions going but i couldn’t hear anything.

General staff engagement was okay but lacked the The Ritz Carlton training. Facilities were good, breakfast buffet was good

Poor training of staff, lack of guest awareness, focus only on some guests who were considered VIPs while others received what anything can be expected of a hotel of this kind but not the Ritz Carlton experience spoken as an ex-Ritz Carlton employee. Nothing as mentioned in the Credo was on display which is a sad thing to see with the lack of commitment from staff to create experiences for guests.Requested for an early check in and understandably the hotel was busy and couldn’t be provided. But the front desk staff said would call as soon as ready but never did. We had to return after going for a drive to be offered the room key. Had requested for 2 separate beds was given a King bed. 2 room keys given but only 1 worked. The room attendant, Lalit who serviced our room was one of the exceptional staff we encountered, smiled always, greeted at all times.An exceptional effort needed to restore The Ritz-Carlton glory

I loved the customer service and the cozy atmosphere of the hotel. Nelly the front desk agent was amazing and I loved how she made sure our stay was wonderful and made sure all our needs were met!

Once we opened the balcony to enjoy the weather, mosquitoes and other bugs entered the room and we had to deal with them for the rest of our stay. Sometimes we would call twice for a service when required.

From the moment we arrived, the front desk and concierge team went above and beyond in making us feel welcome and well-cared-for.A special mention must go to Narayan, who surprised and delighted us by speaking in our native language, Bahasa Melayu—a personal touch that instantly made us feel more at home. Shashank deserves our heartfelt thanks for making the experience even more meaningful. He went the extra mile to organize a thoughtful pre-birthday surprise treat, which added a special sparkle to our stay. Subham, too, stood out during our check-out process by presenting both my sister and I by offering a complimentary lunch or dinner and flowers—an incredibly kind gesture, even though we couldn’t take it up. These interactions reflect the hotel’s commitment to genuine hospitality and thoughtful service.Another highlight of our stay was the breakfast experience, which offered an impressive variety and freshness, with a rotating menu that kept each morning exciting and enjoyable.That said, we’ve rated our stay as good rather than outstanding—not due to service or quality—but rather because of external factors. Visiting during the peak summer season meant we were unable to fully enjoy the beautiful pool and outdoor facilities due to the heat. While this is, of course, beyond the hotel's control, it did impact our overall experience.Nonetheless, the impeccable face-to-face customer service, along with the luxurious and warm atmosphere, more than made up for it. We leave with fond memories and a sincere appreciation for the team that made our stay so special. We look forward to returning—perhaps during a cooler season—to fully enjoy everything the property has to offer.

Our first-time stay at The Ritz-Carlton Grand Canal Abu Dhabi had many highlights, particularly the warm hospitality. However, we did face a few operational issues that affected the start of our experience.The internet connection was poor during the first two days, which was frustrating given the hotel's 40% occupancy at the time. Adding to this, delays when calling reception from our room made it more challenging to resolve the issue quickly. Thankfully, the front desk team was helpful, providing access to an in-house network provider as a temporary solution, which we appreciated.We also noted that the thermostat in our room didn’t reflect the actual temperature—despite being set to 21°C and with balcony doors kept shut, the room remained uncomfortably warm.While these issues impacted our comfort, the thoughtful assistance from the staff and the overall hospitality helped balance the experience. We share this feedback constructively in the hope it supports continued improvements.

We had a wonderful 7-night family stay at The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal and overall it was an excellent experience. The rooms are genuinely large, bright, and very spacious — ideal when traveling with family — and everything felt comfortable and well maintained. The heated pool was a major highlight for us, especially in January: the temperature was perfect and we were able to truly relax, swim comfortably, and even sunbathe during the day.For families, the property works very well: having a kids’ playground on-site was a big plus and made our days easier and more enjoyable. The atmosphere around the resort is beautiful and calm, and even though the Venetian Village area is still under construction, it didn’t affect our stay at all — we still found the surroundings peaceful and pleasant.The staff deserve special mention: everyone we interacted with was extremely kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. We also booked half board and it was a great choice — it includes 4 restaurants, and we found the food consistently very good, varied, and enjoyable, with a nice dining experience each time.

We had two evenings in a row with alarm incidents. On the first evening, we were asked to pay attention to an announcement, but the microphone/audio cut off, which was confusing. On the second evening, what seemed like a fire alarm went off around 2 a.m. and then stopped abruptly. What we didn’t appreciate was that there was no follow-up communication from the hotel explaining what happened or reassuring guests afterward.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We stayed in a 3-bedroom villa, which was perfect for our family. Having our own private pool made the experience even better, and the kids had an absolute blast. The villa was spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained, making our stay truly enjoyable from start to finish. A special thank you to Ramesh, who was extremely helpful throughout our stay and added a personal touch to the experience. We would definitely recommend this hotel to families and would love to stay here again.

Great staff, everyone was so nice and helpful. Beautiful hotel, we stayed at a villa which was incredibly spacious and fully equipped.The pool is huge and, like the rest of the hotel areas, it wasn't crowded at all.

The villa we stayed in was close to a padel court. We heard noise from the court until late evening

Everything beside the desk office who was calling the room for checkout from 11 AM , knowing that I checked in the day before at 4:00 PM ! And they didn’t settle with calling the room , they had sent someone to knock the door on us every 15 minutes which was so irritating and rude and didn’t respect our privacy at all

This was my first visit to Abu Dhabi and to The Ritz-Carlton, and it truly exceeded every expectation. The interior is stunning, and the entrance alone was absolutely mind-blowing pure luxury on another level. I stayed in a balcony room and the view was phenomenal; I can’t even put it into words. The service was exceptional from start to finish. The team at the reception welcomed me and my mom with so much warmth and took such good care of us. It made my graduation trip even more special.

Honestly, nothing. Everything about my stay was perfect.
