The location but the venue was very old and noisy

Facilities like the indoor swimming pool was dirty and creepy Noisy sounds of construction around the hotel- did not allow me to sleep

The bed supposed to be extra large double bedBut it's size dosn,t fit even twin bedThere was a banner near the pool saying swimming under your own responsbility no savior it was very strange cause actually there was two

Had to be put in 4 different bedrooms. First one didnt open, second one had a fire alarm making noise, second one same fire alarm problem, third one had a very noisy extraction fan. Fourth one I had to stay in but despite switching off the AC there was a still noise due to an old air extracting fan, although less loud than the previous room.I also got locked in the lift twice, nothing happened when i pressed the alarm button, and was told at the reception that when it rains the connection doesnt work.For the first and second room, I was also given keys which didnt work multiple times, leading me to have to make multiple trips between the room and the reception. Was told to put my jey away from my phone but I’m not sure my phone was the reason the keys didnt work each time.This is a sign that this hotel and the rooms are old and needs refurbishment. The staff however were all very nice and professional. The problem is that the hotel relies on staff being reactive, rather than the management to be proactive.Overall a very poor experience for what was supposed to be a relaxing stay. No offer was made to reimburse my first night despite having to move multiple times at 4:30am in the morning.

The hotel is OLD, no electricity near the bed to charge the mobile, poor furniture, way over priced coffee !, the refrigerator in the room not working, the coffee machine plug is not working, the hot AC is not hot >>>> room 131Finally, many big official government stickers by the ministry of tourism that the hotel in closed !!!

Probably something I have not seen cause I only stayed for one night without having breakfast

The property needs to be refurbished. Rooms are dated , with old carpet, old bathrooms (mine had a missing a mirror). Zero view and old furniture. Beds are small and the room was very cold in January (I was told heather were available but I didn’t ask)

It was freezing coldRooms are so datedFacilities are dated - advertising a pool but upon arrival it was small and looks really outdated - all the hotels facilities desperately need updating. We were charged a high end premium 5 star rate for a 3 star property at best. Disgustingly the prices dropped over 50% since we booked but we had none refundable rooms so couldn’t cancel

Staff are very warmth and helpful. Mohammed from Club Lounge is excellent with his job and customer relations. He extended his work time because we requested to stay in the Lounge until midnight hoping to see the New Year's fireworks. No spa amenities for my wife.

The room needs updating. Wallpapers are peeling off and stained with some tiny moulds.

It was a wonderful stay for 1 night during the eve of Christmas day! we experience the delightful coffee shop with friendly barista that catered our Choco marshmallow hot drink. upon check-in, also the receptionist was very accommodating and greet us with a fresh orange juice quencher. the Premium room was well kept and organized and smells clean and fresh. thumbs Up!

the complimentary breakfast was priced separately.

The staff were wonderful and the buffet was excellent. I also loved the gym.

I booked the stay to use the facilities (gym/pool/spa). However when I wanted to use the spa I was informed that it was only for men. I didn't receive a discount for my booking and I wasn't informed during the booking process that the spa was only for men.

Location, amenities, and friendly, staff.

- noisy A/C units right outside of my room causing the need for earplugs and a pillow overhead. - noisy maintenance work in the lobby from 9 pm until 12.20 am. I woke up, got dressed and went downstairs to see the manager who, not without hesitation, agreed to stop the work. - loud party in the middle of the night in the lobby causing lack of sleep (again).- At the checkout, the receptionist tried to charge me for room and restaurant charges even though all was already paid for.

Very old rooms, not maintained, high price compared to rooms level

Staff are always welcoming you plus smiling, food was perfectly prepared, room facilities + fast internet connection. Working desk well maintained as well.

The pool was fantastic, variety was available in restaurant for breakfast

Everything , from reception greeting to duty manager whom we received a call from checking on us , all for of good gestures and refreshing

the breakfast was a good spread . I was orgaininzing an event there and I have to mention the extremely helpful Mr.Tayyab Riaz who was able to manage the food and the event very well. I would recommend the property to everyone.

Additional fragrance diffusers can be placed at multiple sites as there was a bad odour in some places. some areas of the hall can be redesigned to make the event organizer for the worth of the money they've paid.

The original room u was in was not good very dates then after a few complaints about the damaged TV they upgraded to a club room.

Disappointing

My recent stay at IInterContinental Riyadh, an IHG Hotel , part of an international hotel chain, left me somewhat disappointed due to an unexpected limitation regarding the outdoor pool facilities. While I understand that there was an evening event scheduled during our stay, I was surprised to find out upon check-in that the pool area would be inaccessible not only during the event but throughout the entire day as well. This information was not communicated to us prior to our arrival, and it significantly impacted our experience as we had hoped to enjoy the pool during the daytime.Given the prominence of the hotel chain, I had expected better communication and management of amenities. It would have been greatly appreciated if we were informed in advance about the restriction on pool usage during the day, as it played a significant role in our decision to choose this hotel. Furthermore, it was disappointing to learn that the pool remained off-limits even on the final day of our stay when there were no events scheduled.While the overall experience at the hotel was satisfactory, the lack of transparency regarding the pool access left a negative impression. I hope that in the future, the hotel will take proactive measures to inform guests about such limitations to avoid similar disappointments.
