Grand Rotana Resort & Spa

I had an absolutely fantastic vacation at Grand Rotana Resort & Spa in Sharm El Sheikh. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations.The staff were truly amazing — welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality made us feel special throughout the entire stay.The food was excellent with a wide variety of high-quality options at every meal. Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented.The resort itself is stunning — clean, well maintained, relaxing, and perfectly located with breathtaking views.Overall, everything was simply fantastic. It was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and I would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sharm El Sheikh.

Very beutiful Hotel with charming seeview , the Food is good, the stuff was Kind , and the Beach is amazing with Swimmingarea and shnurkel

There is no Elevator, but there was Electric stairs

Amazing house reef for snorkelling - and great on-site dive centre (though sadly we could only do 1 dive). We were upgraded to a sea view room which was wonderful, closer than many rooms to pool, beach and restaurants. Comfy beds and pillows and hands-down the best shower I've ever had in Egypt! Superb staff, including the animation team. Went all-inclusive and it was the right move - especially for served lunch at The Palms restaurant by the beach.

A couple of niggles. First up, empty hand sanitiser dispensers in all the public bathrooms. 1 dispenser by the main buffet restaurant worked after a fashion - once you'd asked the animation team to move from blocking it. When we queried with guest relations we were told they were left over from covid era so no need to fill because there was soap in the bathrooms. But given the amount of guests, buffet style meals and poor hygiene from some people (including some female animation staff seen leaving toilets without washing their hands), I feel sanitiser should be supplied for those who want to use it (and people should be encouraged to do so). Secondly, construction started on some temporary buildings for new year's celebration midway through our first week - a certain amount of noise, blocked views and taking over prime sunbathing space which meant the rest of the pool and beach got busier. I'm sure the people going for NYE appreciated it, but it wasn't ideal for those of us just spending Xmas!

The stuff member are all very kind. It's not like a other Egypt place that people always asks for tips. In this hotel people always treat me well. The building 1 and 2 are awesome. Close to sea and no noise.

The view was great, staff was so friendly, the food was very delicious with great variey and very good quality, we really enjoyed our stay in the hotel

Only one small pool was heated, also we needed a larger sandy beach area for kids to enjoy playing and swim in the sea

This hotel exceeded expectations with its exceptional facilities and wonderful amenities. The rooms were perfect, and the beach was stunning, with its own coral reef just steps away, making snorkeling incredibly convenient. But what truly made our stay special was the amazing staff, who always greeted us with a warm smile. Mohamed at the beach bar was on the spot with his amaizng cocktails.

Nothing to be mentioned . The Hotel was exceptional !

Nothing except few minor things

My stay at the Grand Rotana Resort & Spa was truly exceptional. The resort is beautiful, very clean, and well-maintained with stunning views and a perfect Sea. The staff are incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help, which made me feel very welcome. The food was delicious with plenty of variety every day. The pool and gardens are amazing, and snorkeling was unforgettable. Everything exceeded my expectations — I highly recommend this resort and will definitely come back again

I asked for honeymoon room decorations and cake i got the confirmation twice by the hotel. However, unfortunately upon our arrival we didnt find anything which was disappointing.

Everything. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The food was amazing, with a lot of varieties to choose from, and it was very tasty. The staff is super friendly and greets you with a smile anywhere; they are very helpful, and they work around the clock to make everyone's stay as perfect as possible. They are very attentive and always respond to requests in no time.

I loved the food variety offered at the breakfast buffet. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. They smile and greet whenever they make eye contact. They truly go beyond to assist guests.

Probably that the breakfast buffet closed a little before 10.30. May be a good thing to do is to extend the time till 11.00 am.

I really like how professional they are.The food was really delicious.Miss roqaia, the manager of the restaurant, she was really nice with my kids and with us as well she was smiling at all times, and she shows how professional she is. Thank you very much.The housekeeping was also very clean and organized. Mister kreem did a great job The environment of the hotel was really nice

Ground floor property at building 2 with garden and Sea view is so niceAC is very goodThe Property is big and nice

The property is far away from restaurant and lobby..Staircase >> 48 step from pool, then there is an escalator in the main building to the restaurant and lobby which is a good thing

I didnt like anything very expensive,room are so old ,not clean ,staff not friendly and i saw many rates in the hotel.

The reef was exceptional—perfect for snorkeling and enjoying the vibrant marine life. There were plenty of available lounge spots both by the beach and around the pool, which made relaxing even easier.The food was delicious, with a good variety to choose from. A special thanks to our housekeeper, Islam, who kept our room clean, tidy, and comfortable throughout our stay. He was incredibly welcoming and a pleasure to talk to.Don’t miss the foam party—it was a lot of fun and a great way to have an afternoon party.

Everything was perfect. The rooms were very comfy, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was very delicious with a good variety. Our view from the ocean front room was beautiful. Very nice property. We enjoyed our stay!

Their facilities, their staff and the food

Cleaned and variety of food buffet, as well as the friendliness of the staff and safety of the property…. My kids kept loosing their phones and I pass all over the place at various times of the day and we find them instantly within minutes at the frontDesk…. Well done and thank you to the property management

The facilities were amazing. The staff were kind and wanted us to be happy and relaxed. My children enjoyed being at the hotel, swimming, eating, snacking, and just relaxing! Food was awesome. It's also safe.

There was a miscommunication between the receptions you call from the room and the personal people at reception. I called and asked about something and received a different answer from when I personally went and asked. The website and activities there need updating as well.
