Sun Resort & Aqua Park Sharm El-Sheikh

Very good value. Hotel a little tired overall in need of an update, especially the bedrooms. But excellent food, helpful staff, especially Ali & Amin and nice public areas.

Bedrooms in need of update. Pool could be heated. No entertainment at hotel but available at sister hotel. Taxis and minibuses had difficulty coming to front of hotel necessitating 10 minutes walk to front gate.

The beach and sea is great noting though you have to wade out quite a while to get to the deeper areas to swim properly as you can't use the pier which belongs to the hotel next to it but I didn't mind that and that is quite normal for Sharm El Sheikh hotels anyway. The meals were tasty and varied. The view from the sea and pool was very good.

The room and general facilities are a little shabby and need repainting/renovating but for the low price it still felt like a bargain.The cups they give you at the bars for the free drinks are small so you need to order 4 or them to get a proper drink.The reception staff were friendly and nice but not all speak English as the main guests are from Eastern Europe.

It is a big 5-star hotel with a giant territory, beachfront. Sandy beach. You can walk up to 10 km along coast line through a number of luxurious hotels, through access is allowed everywhere once you care the hotel bracelet. In fact, it is the least expansive way to get access to the Nabq beach walkway.Food selection is ok. Never had problems with our stomachs.The rooms are very big. Bedding is excellent. Cleanup is daily.

Make sure you get a southern exposure when staying in the winter since a/c is permanently set to cool and never to heat. Room temperature was very comfortable in the winter (we asked to move us to southern room).

It should be five stars hotel But there are issues that made our stay not very enjoyable. - I entered the toilet in the lobby and it wasn’t clean - I can understand that because of there price They can have low varieties but to have the same exact food every day is in terms of the protein they serve is not very pleasant - if item is finished in the salads they replace it by any thing else any other type of salad - the rooms were old and the bathroom was not good - we checked in and the room didn’t have any towels - in every day room cleaning they don’t replace Shampoo bottles and conditioners….etc. although it was empty and we use it the first day. What helped us that we already had our own stuff- animation team wasn’t very professional and they do what they just for taking a video for what they had done not focusing on the guest .

The property is amazing, easy beach access. I went to Amarina to my Birthday and it was the best choice.But the best are the staff. First off all I would like to thank Mustafa Ali from reception, amazing customer service and very attentive. Also very thanks to cleaner Ahmed, Zezo and Sherif from the Bar and Mohammed Ali. Very professional and attentive staff.

It was a fake five star hotelEverything about that place was wrong overpriced food sucked. Nothing good to say about it.

The staff are too busy for you. Everything was warm. The food was great and looked like the place was still under construction.

We loved it all, i left a detailed review on Google. Buffetts were great, water was warm, pools were refreshing. Perfect stay!

Only the sea view

The hotel does not deserve to be a five stars Very poor facilities Food quality is not as expected from 5 stars hotel .The staff some of them is trying to help and enhance your stay as much as available resources they have .and the rest is not helpful sometimes rude .I really don't like this place and of course I'll never come back again or recommend it for any one .Also I really recommend to be removed from booking .com this is the worest experience ihad with booking .com.

We would like to appreciate Mr. Sayed (Operation Manager) for his efforts to make our stay so special and more comfortable he was so helpful and super friendly and he makes all our requests done in a timely manner. Thank ypu so much Mr Sayed and Mr Khaled for your warm hospitality and everything that you have done for us ♥️We also need to thank each one from the waiter's staff specially (Mostafa and Amr and Ahmed and Leiby) for their services and the politely way and the great communication that they have all the time.The location is really wonderful and so amazing and all the vibes are so nice

Food needs some improvement

Very very very bad

Unprofessional staff , unclean , no telephone or room service available , bad furniture , bad attitude from all staff , shortage in staff , low quality of food , no variety the same food for three days in all times , the staff insult the foreign guest as they don’t understand Arabic , the toilet in the reception is very unclean , mr moustafa in the front desk gave us a room very close to laundry and when we complained they changed the room with room have no towels ,bed sheets , water and tissues till 4 pm while we received the other room at 11

I liked the welcome of hotel crew stuff and they were very nice and flexible with me and the customer care service, also food service was fine but need for more improvement, such as bread unfortunately always soft bread and missing for international measurements quality such as French baguette bread, crispy bread, Italian breads.. Etc, also dessert need for much improvement it is missing a lot of content, about the main course and salad is good varieties but still need to more high quality than that,About the beach of the see is excellent but there is some negativity I noticed it, but I will mention them on the next comments

Firstly the bathroom have issues, no expeller fan for bad smell and dryer the moisture, also cesspool on the floor of the bathroom is not availableSecondly, the beach is missing igneous rock removers. This poses a danger to tourists and may expose them to slipping accidents.ThirdlyThe hotel need To combat insects such as mosquitoes, it has been observed that they are spreading in large numbers in the lobby and even in the rooms. FourthlyThe nature of the crew stuff such as chefs and the waiters are not communicating well between each other, I noticed always there's Verbal alterations among themselves , not trained enough to deal with work pressures and with tourists staying in the hotel.
