Pickalbatros Aqua Blu Sharm El Sheikh

First of all, I give 10 points to Muhammet Cemal, who was responsible for cleaning our room. Because every time he decorated our room differently and kept it spotlessly clean.He is truly both a good person and very kind.

However, in other areas—especially the staff serving food—there was a strange attitude, as if they were sharing their own food with us. This is our 4th stay in Egypt, but we have never encountered such a staff attitude in other places.On the other hand, the staff at the aqua parks and the animation team were all trying their best.The food did not meet our expectations in terms of taste. Especially in the dessert section, although there was a wide variety, the flavors did not suit us. Seafood lacked variety, possibly due to the season we visited. The green salad section was also more limited compared to our previous experiences. However, the beach we stayed at was far away. The shuttle operates according to its own schedule; when we told them the time, they simply showed us the paper where the times were written. So in general, the staff were a bit strange.

Aquapark, VR room was nice.

Disliked · Everything except for kids facilities were below average. Staff is not kind. Hotel has an extra sensitivity for their towels, which I hope they also show for the kindness of their personnel in the future. We did not return our towels to the towel box on day 1 and anyway cleaning personnels collect left over towels and return back to towel box. When we asked for towels next day, towel guy sent us to reception to get towel card and receiption asked for extra 10usd for each towel. Or asked me to show them where we left them so they will look at the cameras to find who got them! Ahaah not kidding:) I tried to explain that I do not remember where I left them and anyhow they should have already returned back to the towel box by the personnel. Finally I tried to explain to the manager of the reception (guy with glasses) however could not understand with his little English and did not help me. I was left without towels that normally cost 1 usd and used 100 times, but treated like diamond by the hotel. Later he sent towel cards to my room and came to the room to apologize. Also cleaning man rings door to ask if anything is needed and when I ask for extra towel, they only replace, no extra towel:)) So bring your towels in case you lose them;) Toilet flush broke twice and we called technical man to repair. After tech man visit, room card did not work, we were left at the door and had to wait for reception at the room door for 5 mins for new ones. Chocolate sauce for the breakfast was sour, we called the restaurant manager to taste and he also accepted its bad taste and removed from the service. Beer served by the facilities area were warm. Alcoholic coctails had little alcohol in it, each time I had to ask for additional alcohol. Dessert was below average. So I do not recommend the hotel at all.

The property was nice and clean, staff are nice and appropriate at all times.

The reception staff were very professional, friendly, and welcoming; they are handling every situation in a proper and very decent way, thanks to Mr. Ahmed Abd El Mongy and Mr Ahmed the reception manager. (Abo Adam) did a great job facilitating everything for us with love and passion :)The room service was also awesome, special thanks to Mahmoud who was insisting on decorating the room for my daughter's birthday. Everything in the hotel was extremely exceptional, especially if you are travelling with your kids and family. Definitely I'll come again, Inshallah, the hotel became my favorite place in Sharm El Sheikh.Thank you for being part of such a beautiful memory for us

Highly recommend this Sharm El Sheikh resort! It exceeded expectations for my family of four (boys age 5 & 7) during our 1-week stay. It was a great warm-weather winter vacation with numerous water slides (120cm required) and swimming/wave pools. Additional on-resort entertainment included virtual reality video games, bumper cars, playgrounds, shows, games, and upbeat music (quiet areas/pools accessible if preferred).Service was top notch! If looking for excursions (plenty to choose from), l'd recommend looking for Otaka around the pool deck to schedule something. We booked a 1-day trip to Cairo to visit the Pyramids/Sphinx/GEM (all bus/flight transfers included and a private speed boat snorkeling trip from Naama Bay to a magnificent coral reef near a ship wreck. Thanks again for two memorable experiences, Otaka!The staff was friendly and hard working. Daily room cleaning was thorough and professional. Great food options for all meals and flexibility to grab snacks outside meal times.Although not directly on the beach, a bus made frequent trips daily to a nearby beach space set up for the resort with chairs/umbrellas, bars, food, shops, games, and music. We regret only taking advantage of this one day of our trip.Overall fantastic experience. Thanks again to the team for a great stay!

If required, apply for an eVISA ahead of travel to save time at passport control. Also, anticipate negotiating prices at local shops as most products don't have a set price tag.

The overall experience is really great the hotel exceeded my expectations, the hotel is very clean all the time, the food is of high quality and big variety, all the staff are helpful the always wants to make your stay more and more comfortable and to be great experience, the aqua park is so enjoyable and funny, thanks to you all pickalbatros aqua blue for making our stay comfortable, of course I'll repeat my visit soon.

The staff is amazing and the food is good and variable the facility is good and the entertainments and activities is very good

In the evening when I set in the balcony there are mosquitoes and you need to spray because there are trees around.

The housekeeping crew is very professional , ibrahim was very nice and very helpful , the hotel is family vibes we will change the hotel bcz we want more of bachelor vibes

The aquapark was great, and the VR center was surprisingly good. The kids really enjoyed it.

The number of English-speaking staff was extremely low, so communication was quite difficult. Except for the hotel manager and the housekeeping team, most of the other staff were not very polite. The food was not very tasty, and although our room was clean, I cannot say the overall cleanliness of the hotel was good.Also, make sure to pay online, because if you pay at the hotel, you end up paying about 25% more than the price shown due to additional commissions.

Everyone is friendly, helpful and always smiling.The best aqua park ever. My family and I love Aqua Blu, it’s our 5th time.

This is our third year visiting Pickalbatros Aqua Blu Sharm El Sheikh, and every time we leave with even better memories. The hotel offers excellent services and a wide variety of activities that meet the needs of every family member, from children to adults. Honestly, there was nothing major to complain about. Perhaps during peak times, the restaurants can feel a little crowded, but the staff handle it very well.
