Beautiful hotel not even 5 minutes away from Elvas with huge rooms and great food

What an amazing property!! The pictures do not do it justice. Built only 10 years ago, it looks like a beautifully maintained quinta from yesteryear. The period decorations perfectly complement the building style. Our room was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The food was delicious. Highly recommended!!

The location is amazing , the food is amazing and the staff very friendly . I can’t wait to visit them during the winter season

Late check in, excellent bed, spacious apartment. Nice furnitures.

Evening meal was excellent as was breakfast. The location and layout of the hotel and especially the views were superb.

Check out was a disaster. The computer system took ages to come alive and card payment was not working so luckily had enough cash to settle up. They were very apologetic.

Beautiful place, peaceful with a grandeur view onto the slopes of east Alentejo. Great staff and delicious breakfast. Perfect and clean room.

I am a veterinary technician. I love dogs. My only suggestion would be to contain even the friendliest of dogs away from anyone who may be intimidated by them.

Lovely setting, very comfortable room, nice breakfast. Not in Elvas itself, but in the countryside a few miles from town. Very tranquil spot. Would happily go back. Very good value for money in the low season.

The owner's dogs are a nuisance if you're not a dog lover.

Ive stayed already some times at Hotel Monte da Provença and I really enjoy the rooms with lots of space and very well decorated.

It was perfect

It is the most beautiful and tranquil place to relax and unwind. Elvas is very interesting to explore. Maria, Joaquin, Bia, and the rest of the team made you feel so extra special. We want to come back some day all the way from Colorado. Grape vines, orange trees, olive trees, and the most adorable dogs ever! And the beautiful sound of a Tawny Owl in the night. That we couldn’t stay longer

Perfect location for unwinding. Very comfortable, lovely pool area, staff helpful and welcoming - diner was delicious

Nothing what do ever

The spacious, quiet bedroom and bathroom were very well equipped and comfortable. The bedroom also had an external seating area overlooking a lawn and gardens leading down to the swimming pool. The attention to detail within the bedroom such as the provision of bathrobes and slippers was exceptional.

Pleasant surroundings and nice old building. Nice terrace facing the garden. Good size swimming pool well maintained.

The owner dogs that kept barking loudly days and night Not being given the room we booked which should have been facing the garden but one facing an inner courtyard with a window overlooking a corridor leading to the restaurant.

Extensive rural property. Big bedrooms. Very comfortable. Beautiful terrace with a large swimming pool.
